Hello my friends, this page discusses the topic of end times or eschatology. As you begin to study your Bible, you will discover a large part predicted the future when it was written down. The Bible stands alone in terms of accurately predicting the future. Fortune telling and astrology can get some predictions right. However, the Bible is 100% accurate when it comes to predicting the only prophecy that really matters, what happens to our souls after death. Depending on whether we have endured to the end for Christ, we can have full assurance where we are headed. So what if a fortune teller gives me the numbers for the lottery, I win the big one, live for this world’s pleasures and end up going to hell. Did this knowledge benefit me in the end?
Now, the primary prophecy given to me is the Lord’s return in my sister Deborah’s lifetime and God is allowing the physical presence of the Holy Spirit to confirm this. I have been experiencing continuousness sensations on the body since January 2019. Now since the sensations are continuous, I know they are not hallucinations. We understand experiences such as hallucinations or Deja vu come and go, but are not continuous. The Bible says in the end, God will pour out his Spirit and we will receive an increase in dreams, visions and his Holy Spirit (Joel 2:28). Of course this started at Pentecost with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit but will continue until the Lord returns (Acts 2:17). I believe as powerful signs continue to come upon the earth, from both kingdoms, the Lord will be giving many prophecies to his children. No one knows the day or hour
I do not believe anyone has been given a specific day and hour of our Lord’s return. I believe the latest prediction which caught worldwide attention was the date September 24, 2025, which proved to be in error. Then after that date passed, the same guy doubled down for a date in October 2025, which also proved wrong. Pastor Joshua was extremely convincing when he said a being, claiming to be Jesus, appeared in his room with the information. The founder of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, Chuck Smith, predicted the Lord’s return in 1981. The famous author Hal Lindsey predicted the Lord’s return in 1988 through his best seller, the late great planet earth selling over 28 million copies! I remember when Harold Camping attracted worldwide attention when he gave the dates of May 21, 2011 and October 21, 2011. I remember billboards popping up around the country with the May 21st date. Now all these prophecies have failed and with the exception of Pastor Joshua, these men have passed away. We sincerely hope they found repentance because, trust me, no one wants to be deceived. Also, others believing these prophecies and receiving confirmation from spirits, must do some repenting because they have believed deceiving spirits.
Therefore, if anyone, including this little man, gives you a specific date of the Lord’s return or rapture of the church, please do not believe it. Our Lord said but of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven but my Father only (Mat 24:36). Remember the Bible speaks of great deception being in the world leading up to our Lord’s 2nd coming (Dan 8:25, Mat 24:24, 2 The 2:11, Rev 13:14). I truly believe many of the pastors and authors received the information from a spirit. The reason is Satan and his kingdom’s ability to deceive is increasing the closer we get to the end. Now, even though I am experiencing the physical presence of the Holy Spirit and receive routine information from spirits, I must always compare the message against the written word. One thing we can be assured of is God will not violate his written word. Jesus said heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not. Paul said if we or an angel from heaven preaches something different from what we previous preached let them be damned (Gal 1:8)!
Regarding the exact day, from the time the daily sacrifice is taken away and the abomination of desolation is setup, there will be 1,290 days and wait until the 1,335 days (Dan 12:11). These days were given to occur after the daily sacrifice has been taken away. Our Lord says the wicked shall do wickedly and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise will. I believe what our Lord means is we cannot pin down his return to a particular day of the week, but if we are living holy, we will understand after a particular event or sign. I have been given great insight into eschatology down to the person who will be alive when our Lord returns. Again, this is similar to what Simeon received during our Lord’s 1st coming (Luke 2:26). However, it is evident details are being withheld until it’s time for them to be revealed. In Revelation 10, John hears the words from the 7 thunders but was told to seal them up because it was not time for the meaning to be revealed.
It is not for you to know the times or seasons
When the Lord said to the disciples that it was not for them to know the times or seasons which the Father as put in his own authority, was he referring to all generations (Acts 1:7)? What prompted the Lord to make this statement? Did not the Lord say when you see all these signs lookup for your redemption draws near. The Lord made this statement because after the disciples 40 day stay with him, they believed it was time for the 2nd coming or the Lord to restore the earth to the Davidic Kingdom (Acts 1:3, 6). They still did not understand God’s goal of reaching the Gentiles or the time of the Gentiles (Luke 21:24, Rom 11:25). They still believed God was primarily just the God for the Jews, remember when Peter received the vision of the beast (Acts 10:15). This was even after the command in Matthew was to go and make disciples of all the nations (Mat 28:18).
Therefore, the Lord told them or that generation, it was not for them to know but first they must become witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the end of the earth (Acts 1:8). My friends, no one knows the day or hour but our Lord definitely wants us to understand the signs of the times. The Lord said just how we understand summer is approaching by looking at the trees beginning to blossom, there will be signs in the heavens and the earth before his return (Mat 24:32, Luke 21:30). Our Lord rebuked the Pharisees for not understanding the signs of the times in their day (Mat 16:3). In other words, they missed his 1st coming even though Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy and the visit of the wise men confirmed he was the promised Messiah. John the Baptist understood the Lord was the Messiah when he said behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). My friends, the signs of his 2nd coming are all around us.
The day of the Lord
How should we understand the phrase, the day of the Lord? In Genesis, God said to Noah, the end of all flesh has come before me for the earth is filled with violence. We are told Noah was 500 years old when God told him but the flood did not come until he was 600. Therefore, we see God warned the earth for 100 years before sending the flood or in that case, the dreadful day of the Lord! Unfortunately in Noah’s day, only 8 souls made it on the ark and the rest perished (2 Pet 3:20). In the Old Testament, when we examine the prophetic books from Isaiah to Malachi, the phrase the day of the Lord is in reference to some type of judgment. Joel said God will pour out his Spirit and we will get an increase in dreams and visions, while many signs will be shown in the heaven and earth before the great and awesome day of the Lord (Joel 2)! Also, Malachi the last book in the Old Testament said God will send the prophet Elijah before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord (Mal 4:5). John the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah, but John said he was not Elijah (Luke 1:17, John 1:21).
In the New Testament, 2 Peter tells us the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise and the elements will melt with fervent heat. However, Peter and Jude tells us scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lust and saying where is the promise of his coming? Paul tells us in 1 Thessalonians that we are not in darkness or asleep, so that day will not overtake us as a thief. We are all sons of light and sons of the day, we are not of the night nor of darkness, for God did not appoint us to wrath but to obtain salvation. John tells us in the Revelation that if we do not watch that day will come upon us as a thief (Rev 3:3). Peter warns us that since the heavens and earth will be dissolved, along with the ungodly, we must be living holy. Now, the Lord 1st coming was definitely not the dreadful day of the Lord, but the wonderful giving of God’s sacrificial lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ to pay for our sins (John 2:36, Mat 1:21). The Lord’s 2nd coming will be the dreadful day of the Lord for many. Does God want the day of the Lord or the Lord’s 2nd coming to surprise us like a thief?
The Labor Pains
Paul says in 1 Thessalonians but concerning the times and seasons brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you know perfectly that the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them as labor pains upon a pregnant woman and they shall not escape. For any of us who have had children or witnessed children being born, we know how this goes. As the woman gets closer to delivery of the child, her birth pains increase in frequency and intensity. The Lord gave me a dream in May 2026. In the dream I was fully pregnant, experiencing birth pains and the baby was coming when I awoke. Obviously, a man cannot get pregnant so I interpret my dream as the labor pains leading up to the Lord’s 2nd coming have commenced.
Paul says the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now, waiting to be delivered from the curse and into the glorious children of God (Rom 8:18-23). My friends, this was 2,000 years ago! And there will be signs in the sun, the moon, the stars and on the earth. There will be distress of nations, perplexity, the sea and waves roaring and men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of things coming upon the earth for the powers of the heavens will be shaken (Luke 21:25). Now we have always had natural and heavenly disasters, but the day of the Lord brings the culmination of these events, similar to birth pains of a pregnant woman.
Events before the day of the Lord
Paul tells us in his 2nd letter to the Thessalonians, regarding the coming of our Lord Jesus and our gathering together to him. We ask that you not be shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter as if from us, as though that day of Christ has come. Some members of the church were believing the day of the Lord had come and they had missed it. And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are the sort, who have strayed concerning the truth saying that the resurrection is already past and they overthrow the faith of some (2 Tim 2:17). Also, it appears from this 1st sentence that our Lord’s coming and us gathering with him is the order. In addition to this statement, Paul provides more information surrounding the 2nd coming.
Paul gives us several events which must occur before the coming of the Lord and our gathering to meet him. He assured them the day had not come because the falling away and the Man of Sin, empowered by Satan, must come first. However, he told them that he who was holding these events back must be moved out of the way, then the events would happen. He also let them know that not all of them would sleep, but the dead in Christ must rise 1st, then believers who are alive would be changed and caught up in the clouds to me the Lord in the air. Obviously, all of the 1st generation saints have slept or died, so Paul is speaking of the believers living at the time of the 2nd coming. Paul gives this same order in 1 Corinthians 15:52, for the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed. Now, Paul provides more details to the Thessalonians surrounding the Lord’s return, but the order is consistent in both letters.
The Restrainer
Paul let’s us know that the mystery of iniquity or lawlessness or sin is already at work in the children of disobedience and will continue until he or what is restraining is removed (2 The 6,7). From this passage, I understand the Man of Lawlessness or Sin, Ruler of this world or coming Antichrist cannot be revealed until the restrainer is removed. Naturally, one question is who or what is the restrainer? I do not see the restrainer as a human being or collection of human beings, such as the church. Do we have authority to hold back some evil, cast out demons and overcome the sin in our lives? Of course, Jesus said I give you all authority over the powers of the enemy (Luke 10:19). However, Jesus statement must be understood from an eternal perspective because when the Man of Sin emergences, he is going to persecute or overcome the saints (Dan 7:25, Rev 13:7). Now this means he will overcome our physical bodies, rather than our eternal souls (John 10:28, Rom 8:38).
Therefore, when its’ time for Satan’s man under the last rebellious kingdom to take his place, the church cannot stop him. Again, we have power to bind the strong man in certain cases, because I have casted demons out in my dreams and the real world. In Daniel 10, when he was trying to get a prayer threw, the angel Gabriel was prevented from reaching him. Daniel’s prayer was held up for 21 days by powerful demonic forces, until Michael, the Archangel showed up. Therefore, I see the restrainer as God or a high ranking Angelic Being like Michael or collection of high ranking Angelic Beings, like the 4 Living Creatures. Now, removal of the restrainer does not mean God will not be saving people because John is told the great multitude before the throne came out of the great tribulation (Rev 7:9). No doubt they were martyred for refusing the mark of the beast and worshipping his image.
The Falling Away
Now after the restrainer is removed or taken out of the way, the falling away or greatest deception emerges (2 The 2:3). Obviously, deception, sin and lawlessness have been in the creation since the Garden of Eden (Gen 3:13). Paul is referring to the culmination of evil or deception under the Man of Sin. What did Jesus say about the level of deception leading up to his 2nd coming? Deception will be so great that if possible, the very elect would be deceived (Mat 24:24). Satan’s ability to led the world astray reaches its’ pinnacle under the Revelation 13 Beast system or man’s final rebellious kingdom. I reject the Amillennial view which says Satan’s power has been bound and we are in the 1,000 year reign. In fact, I do not see Satan’s power bound until he is cast into the bottomless pit. Remember, the angel with the key to the bottomless pit bounds him with a great chain (Rev 20:3). Currently, he goes around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour or deceive (1 Pet 5:8). However, even though Satan’s influence in the world is increasing, so is God’s (Joel 2:28, Mat 16:18).
Forbidding to marry and abstaining from foods
Paul said in 1 Timothy, the Spirit expressly says in the latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and demonic teachings. He then names two of those doctrines that will be taught, specifically forbidding to marry and abstaining from certain foods. Can you think of the major religions which are teaching this? I see this as a direct reference to Catholicism and Islam. I recall the dream where the Lord took me down to hell and gave me an understanding that the Antichrist was rising soon and the Catholic Church would propel him to power. Again, I am not saying there are no born again Catholics, but this is definitely one of their demonic doctrines. Also, some of my Islamic brothers are specifically forbidden from eating pork and drinking alcohol.
Sinful practices while claiming Christ
My friends, God gives us time to repent if we fall into a sin, but to say we are still saved while blatantly disobeying God’s rules is a deep level of deception. I remember after my first wife died how this went for me. I was jumping up and down in church on Sunday’s and hitting the night clubs on weekends. After about 6 months I was under so much conviction that I cried out, Lord, I do not have the gift of celibacy! The Lord calmly responded, come out of the night clubs and I will bring you a wife. After 70 days, I was married and we are heading into our 24 year of marriage. Jesus said a good tree cannot bear bad fruit and neither can a bad tree bear good fruit. Then he said you will know them by their fruits (Mat 7:15). In other words, your lifestyle must back up your faith.
Paul said in 2 Timothy that in the last days perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanders, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power and from such people turn away! This is what I am encountering on many of our college campuses. Students are saying they are saved while practicing sin. My friends, do you want to rebuke someone who has told you they are practicing sin or just say, God understands and still loves you (1 Tim 5:20)? However, please review this section to understand how to judge your brother. Is the Bible against me judging others?
The acceptance of sexual confusion
Can you think of any other time in church history where the practice of homosexuality and same sex marriages were accepted? The Evangelical Lutheran, Episcopal, Methodist, Catholic and many Non-Denominational Churches all accept homosexual pastors, teachers and priest, essentially saying God approves of these practices. In fact, many churches perform same sex marriages. Remember what Paul said would happen to people doing and approving of this stuff (Rom 1:32)? We see the LGBQT+ sexual confusion message being indoctrinated from elementary to the University, through the church, through the film industry, through the music industry, through social platforms and accepted worldwide. Although it is sad to see the corruption of God’s beautiful sexual design, I fully understand why these practices are now acceptable and taught within the church. Yes my friends, the world is finally at the point where they are celebrating perversion, while calling it love. This is a high level of deception the world is under and clear evidence of a falling away from God’s rules on sexual relationships.
Less teaching on sin, holiness and God’s wrath
Another instance of the falling away is most churches don’t teach on God’s holy standard and against the practice of sin, but rather a soft message of love and acceptance with an emphasis on giving. In fact, most churches tell you not to judge people, but just love and accept them. My friends, God loves us but do you honestly think he is going to sign off on our sinful practices? What is the message to the Revelation churches (Rev 2,3)? If you compare the sermons in Acts and early American history against many coming out of our modern churches, you can hear the difference. There is hardly ever a sermon on hell and the wrath of God. Now, I do not have a problem with female pastors, which Paul forbid during the formation of the church, because God is pouring out his spirit on men servants and maid servants in this final hour (1 Tim 2:12, Joel 2:28). However, anyone teaching must be careful because the Bible says teachers, including myself, will receive the stricter judgment.
The Man of Sin
Who is the Man of Sin or Son of Perdition Paul said would be revealed after the great falling away (2 The 2:3)? Did not Jesus say the Pharisees were sons of hell? Did not Jesus call Judas the son of perdition? When Jesus said I will no longer talk with you much for the ruler of this world is coming and he has nothing in me, who was he referring to (John 14:30)? Jesus could not be referring to Satan himself because Satan was already present and offered him all the kingdoms of the world (Luke 4:6). When Paul said this person could not be revealed until the restrainer is removed, he could not be referring to Satan because Paul said Satan was already the ruler of this age (2 Cor 4:4). When John says it is the last hour and Antichrist or the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrist have come, what did he mean (1 John 2:18)? John said many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, this is a deceiver and an antichrist (1 John 4:3, 2 John 1:7). When we compare both of John’s writings in these short letters, I see the coming Antichrist different from the spirit of antichrist already in the world (1 John 5:19).
Paul warned God would send a strong delusion around that time, so they would believe the lie (2 The 2:11). In this verse, the they refers to those living in sin or practicing unrighteousness. I understand this verse as God allowing Satan to deceive those living in sin. Remember, Satan already wants to deceive us, but the Holy Spirit is preventing this for those living for Christ (2 Cor 4:3). In the context here, I believe the lie refers to the world accepting the Antichrist as the True Christ, our Lord Jesus. Also, I believe the deception will be increased by his ability to overcome a deadly wound, so some type of resurrection, similar to our Lord’s could happen (Rev 13:3,14). In Revelation 9, after the 5th trumpet is blown, demons are released on the earth and those not sealed by the Holy Spirit will be tormented and for sure, greatly deceived! Obviously, once the Mark of the Beast is offered to the world, anyone receiving it has been completely deceived.
I see the coming Lawless One, Man of Sin, Son of Perdition or Antichrist Ruler as the 7th head on the Beast carrying the Woman, Mystery Babylon or essentially the ruler of mankind’s last rebellious kingdom (Rev 17:10). Regarding these heads, John said 5 have fallen, 1 is and the last one is coming and when he does, he must continue for a short time. Again, a statement like one is coming means it is future. I see the 5 heads as the kingdoms of Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medes – Persia and Greece. The current head was Rome and the final head will be part of the Revelation 13 Beast. I see this short time referring to a period of 42 months or 1,260 days or time, times and 1/2 a time or essentially a 3 1/2 year period. I believe this short period refers to the last 3 1/2 years left on Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy (Dan 9:27). I recall a dream back in November 2018 where the Lord took me down to hell and I met a man who said the Antichrist was rising soon. My friends, the mystery of lawlessness or iniquity is some of us cannot see the value of our eternal soul and continue to disobey the Lord and live for temporary pleasures. The Rapture
The event known as the rapture is where the Lord meets his church in the air. I believe this is exactly what happened to Enoch and Elijah, because neither of them experienced death. Elijah was taken up alive in a fiery chariot and Enoch walked with God and he was not, because God took him. Also, we know the Lord ascended to heaven as they watched a cloud receive him (Acts 1:9). The Bible says after Philip baptized the eunuch, both men came out of the water, then Philip was caught away and the eunuch did not see him anymore (Acts 8:39). Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12 that he was caught up to the 3rd heaven or paradise. Also, the 2 witnesses or prophets heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them “Come up here” and they ascended to heaven in a cloud and their enemies saw them (Rev 11:12).
My friends, the teaching of the rapture is Biblical! However, the timing of the rapture, as depicted in the Left Behind Series, is merely speculation. Now regardless of when the rapture occurs, those who are practicing sin or unrighteousness will be condemned because Jesus said outside the city are those practicing sin (Rev 22:15). I see the rapture happening after or at the culmination of the tribulation, because Jesus said after the tribulation of those days, the angels will be dispatched to gather the elect from the earth (Mat 24:29). Again, regardless of our position on the timing of the rapture, do you think the world is under the greatest deception since the beginning of the church?
Mankind/Satan’s Kingdoms
When contemplating the rise and fall of Mankind/Satan’s kingdoms and the culmination of the events at the end of this age, the Book of Daniel stands alone. The Bible says King Nebuchadnezzar was lying on his bed and begin considering what kingdoms would come after this or after his reign was over. Now, the reason we can say these are Satan’s kingdoms is when he offered them to the Lord in exchange for worship, the Lord did not say you are not ruling these kingdoms (Luke 4:6). Daniel 7 describes all the kingdoms, provides details of mankind’s last kingdom, that consist of the 10 toes or horns or kings. Daniel also gives us insight into the little horn that speaks pompous words, while prevailing over the saints for a time, times and 1/2 a time. However, eventually the court shall be seated, referring to judgment and they will take away his dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heavens shall be given to the saints.
As you study Daniel, you will notice how God only reveals the kingdoms as an image without names to Nebuchadnezzar but later reveals the kingdoms by name to Daniel (Dan 2). Now, the book never reveals the Roman empire by name, but we know Rome was the current or 6th head of the beast (Rev 17:10). Also, from history, we know Rome was not destroyed in anger or through battle (Dan 11:20). Now, in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, God does not reveal the little horn and his rise along with the 10 toes or kings or horns. Neither does he reveal that the little horn will uproot 3 horns or kings (Dan 7:24). This tells you God will always reveal more to his children than his general creation. As you continue to study the Book of Daniel, God reveals the coming of the Messiah in Chapter 9 and the 70 weeks prophecy, which I believe has 1 week or 7 year period currently being fulfilled. The beasts used to represent the various kingdoms given to Daniel are consistent with the beast John sees in Revelation 13.
The details of man’s final world kingdom and Kingdom of God given to Daniel did not include certain details given to John. For instance, Daniel did not see the 2nd beast in Revelation 13 who leads the world into worship of the 1st beast, nor did Daniel see the Mark of the Beast. When Daniel says some will rise to everlasting life and some to everlasting contempt, he did not see the 1,000 year gap between the 1st and 2nd resurrections (Dan 12:2, Rev 20:5). Also, recall when Jesus said an hour is coming when all those in the grave will hear his voice and some come forth to life and some death (John 5:28). Both Daniel and our Lord’s prophecies are correct, even with the 1,000 year gap mentioned by John. One person’s hour can be different from another’s, but everyone has an hour to give an account to their maker. The Bible says in the end mankind will run everywhere and knowledge will increase (Dan 12:4). Now that we are in the computer, smart phone and internet age, no one can dispute the fulfillment of this prophecy! Think about it my friends, how has humanity’s knowledge and access to information increased in the last 50 years?
The sign near the end
Matthew 24: 4-14 provides a summary of events leading up to the end because verse 14 says, then the end will come. Beginning with verse 15, we see a sign to look for near the end. Matthew 24:15-31 provides another summary from the sign point with additional details to be aware of, because verse 31 says then the trumpet will sound. I believe the generation which will not pass away in verse 34 is the one which witnesses the sign in verse 15. As previously demonstrated on my New Testament page, a generation is approximately 34.5 years. I believe it will be approximately 3 1/2 years, 1,290 or 1335 days from the sign until the Lord returns. I believe the Matthew 24:15 sign is the same sign in Daniel 9:27, 11:31, 12:11 and 2 Thessalonians 2:4. The sign is not the destruction of the temple spoke of in Luke 21:20. The destruction of the temple in Luke is spoken of in Daniel 9:26, indicating the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. I believe this happened in AD 70 when Rome destroyed the city and temple.
But before all these things happen
Luke tells us nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom and there will be great earthquakes, famines, pestilences and fearful sights. Then Luke says something that is not found in Matthew or Mark. The Lord says, but before all these things happen, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you. You will be brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake. After describing more persecution, the Lord said but when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. The Lord does not say this in another gospel. Then the Lord says Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Again, a statement not mentioned in any other gospel. I see the verses from Luke 21:20 to 24 specific to destruction of the temple in AD 70. Paul said blindness in part has come to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in (Rom 11:25). Obviously, the fullness or times of the Gentiles have not been finished because many Gentiles, including myself, are still being saved.
The sign during Daniel’s 70th weeks prophecy
The 70 weeks prophecy in Daniel 9 is not complete because the end will bring in everlasting righteousness and we are not in that state. Has the rock in Daniel 2 not cut out by man’s hand smashed the image on the foot? Yes, the Lord’s kingdom begin with the gospels and continues to grow in the world. However, it should be obvious to anyone who understands God’s standard of holiness, that the world is getting more violent, perverted and Antichrist. Remember, our Lord told Pilate my kingdom is not of this world. Therefore, I believe we have some of the final week (7 years) remaining in the prophecy to fulfill everything or to seal up vision, prophecy and anoint the Most Holy.
The prophecy predicted the Lord’s coming and death with the words, from the command to rebuilt Jerusalem until the Messiah is cutoff shall be 69 weeks. I believe the decree by King Artaxerxes to Ezra the priest satisfied the number of years (Ezra 7:13). King Artaxerxes reigned over the Persia kingdom. Daniel’s prophecy says he, speaking of the Messiah, will be cut off by the prince of the people to come after fulfillment of 69 weeks, which equals 483 years. Prophecy has not been sealed up because we are still getting dreams and visions specific to the end. However, our dreams and visions coming from the Lord will never conflict with Scripture. In other words, anyone giving you a specific day of the rapture or the Lord’s return do not believe them. They are getting this information from another spirit. Remember, our Lord said when he returns, it will be like lightning flashing from the east to the west (Mat 24:27). In other words, everyone will know it (Rev 1:7).
Then after the 69 weeks, he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week, he shall bring an end to the sacrifice and offering and on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate. I see this phrase, on the wing of abominations consistent with the Antichrist setting himself and his image up in the temple of God. I see this prophecy consistent with Paul’s prophecy given to the Thessalonians on the events leading up to the day of the Lord. Also, I see confirmation of the covenant spoken by Daniel consistent with Paul’s teaching to the Thessalonians where he mentions when they say peace and safety, then sudden destruction (1 The 5:3). Now we know world leaders have always been on a crusade to bring peace to the middle east, because these folk have been at war since the beginning. Therefore, no one knows what covenant or peace treaty is the exact one being referred to. Therefore, I see a trackable sign as he or the Antichrist putting an end to the daily sacrifices and setting up the abomination of desolation (Dan 8:11, 9:27, 11:31, 12:11, Mat 24:15, 2 The 2:4). So, I believe some of the last 70th week or 7 years, remains future. I believe the Matthew 24:15 sign occurs in the middle of this final week (7 years).
Old Testament Major Feast
I believe the Old Testament major feast in the Bible have a correlation to the Lord’s return. However, since the Lord’s blood is always interceding for us, the day of atonement is an eternal day. If we follow the major feast, we are waiting for the final trumpet which could happen at any given Feast of Trumpet’s Celebration. The Feast of Tabernacles is where the Lord returns bodily and dwells with us forever. This feast is mentioned in Zechariah 14:16 and I believe this passage is referring to the 1,000 year millennial reign. The prior verse in Zechariah 14:5 says the Lord my God will come with all the saints. Below are the major feast and their time periods.
Passover (April)
- This Jewish festival occurs on the 14th day of the 1st month of the Hebrew calendar or April. Christians celebrate the fulfillment of this Old Testament festival on Easter. Behold, the Lamb of God who saves his people from their sins (John 1:36, Mat 1:21).
Unleavened Bread (April)
- This Jewish festival occurs on the 15th day of April, following Passover. Christians celebrate the fulfillment of this during Communion. However, before we participate, the Bible tells us to examine ourselves to see if any sin is there, so partaking will not bring judgment on us (1 Cor 11:27).
Pentecost (May or June)
- This Jewish festival occurs 50 days after Passover, also known as feast of weeks or feast of first fruits. Christians experience Pentecost continuously because we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit (John 16:13). However, having different gifts and callings, we do not experience the presence of the Holy Spirit the same way (1 Cor 12).
Feast of Trumpets (September or October)
- This Jewish festival occurs on the 1st day of the 7th month to prepare the worshipper for observance of the Day of Atonement. I believe the rapture will occur around the time of this annual feast. No doubt, the reason why we get so many predictions around these months.
The Day of Atonement (September or October)
- This Jewish ritual occurs on the 10th day of the 7th month and is a day of fasting and mourning over sins. The high priest goes into the holy of holies with the blood of an animal without blemish, to atone for his as well as the people sins. I remember speaking with a young Jewish man and asking him how he observes this since there is no holy of holies. He said each night his soul leaves his body, is purified before the altar in heaven and returns to his body. For Christians, the day of atonement is a continuous or eternal day because the Lord’s blood is always interceding. The Father said to the Son, you are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek (Heb 7:17).
The Feast of Tabernacles (September or October)
- This Jewish festival occurs on the 15th day of the 7th month, 5 days after the Day of Atonement and last for 7 days. This festival is also called the feast of ingathering or feast of booths. I see this as the physical return of the Lord occurring at the rapture and we will celebrate with the Lord forever (Zec 14:16). Behold, the dwelling place of God is with men (Rev 21:3).
Possible End Times Timeline
My end times chart provides an understanding of how the timing of the events surrounding the Lord’s 2nd coming could unfold. I take different passages in the Scripture and place them where I believe they will occur on the timeline. The books of Isaiah and Ezekiel describe a new heaven and earth as well as a temple where living waters flow from the throne (Isa 65:17, Eze 47:1). In the book of Jeremiah, we see a day like none other, described as Jacob’s trouble. After that day, Jeremiah says Israel will serve God and David the king, who God will raise up (Jere 30:7,9). In the book of Zechariah, we see the manner in which I believe the Lord will return, thus causing geological changes to the earth (Zec 14:3-9).
The opening of the 1st seal in the Revelation should start the last week (7 years) of the Daniel 70 weeks prophecy or this timeline. According to the dream I received in April of 2024 where I heard the words “It is Beginning”, I believe the 1st seal was opened around that time, so I believe we are in the great tribulation. Again, I see the verses on my charts occurring within that period. Nevertheless, the Holy Spirit has not confirmed any of this chart to me, so I am careful not to present it as a direct word from the Lord. However, in my May 2026 dream, I was fully pregnant and woke up just as the baby was coming. Also, the Holy Spirit’s continuous presence is definitely confirming the Lord is coming in my sister Deborah’s lifetime.

The Revelation, AD 95: How is Jesus revealed?
My discussion on the Revelation is based on the New Kings James Version. At times, I paraphrase the wording of the text. However, please extend me a little grace because the Revelation is the most difficult Book in the New Testament to understand. There are times when the text should be understood symbolically, metaphorically or plainly. Also, there are times when the passage is relating to a past, present or future event. However, like all Scripture the Revelation is God breath, so the Lord wants us to study and apply this book, not as an academic curiosity but to change our life. When you get to the later Chapters of 19, 20, 21 and 22, I believe it is easier to see these as future events.
John received the vision while banished to the island of Patmos for his faith. Some scholars believe it was written around AD 95, while some believe it was written before AD 70. If you believe the Revelation was written before AD 70, you probably believe much was fulfilled in the destruction of the temple in AD 70. The Revelation does not indicate how long it took for John to receive the visions. We know he had sufficient time to write down the message and for someone to deliver it to the 7 churches. I provide additional narrative for each Chapter below the summary section. Throughout the letter, my goal is to give insight and provide cross references.
The 4 Horseman of the Apocalypse
The 4 horsemen, the 1st 4 seals of the Revelation or Apocalypse have ridden through history many times. There have been many savior type figures who deceived the people through peace (white horse) but brought war (red horse) and afterwards comes famine (black horse), death (pale horse) and the judgment of hell. Hitler was no doubt one of these figures. Ezekiel and Zechariah describe their ride during the time when God used Babylon and other nations to judge Israel. We see judgments by sword, pestilence, wild beast and extreme famine to the point of cannibalism on the land of Israel. God used symbols of chariots, ax men and other objects to depict his judgments. I see the Revelation as the final ride of these 4 horsemen and no doubt, they leave their station before God and ride across the entire world! The book was written during a time of intense persecution of the church.
How our Lord Jesus is revealed
- Revelation 1:13 – The Lord is functioning here as the High Priest
- Revelation 2,3 – The Lord is speaking through the Holy Spirit, hear the Spirit
- Revelation 4 – The Lord is functioning as Creator receiving worship
- Revelation 5:6 – The Lord is the Omnipotent, Omnipresent Sacrificial Lamb
- Revelation 6 – 9 – The Lamb is releasing God’s wrath through seals and trumpets
- Revelation 12:5 – The Lord is Human Child who rules all nations with a rod of iron
- Revelation 14 – 16 – The Son of Man has sharp sickle directing release of the bowls
- Revelation 19:12 – The Rider is Faithful and True, spilling his enemies blood
- Revelation 20:11 – The Lord is Judge sitting on the Great White throne
- Revelation 22:1 – The Lord is functioning as intercessor Lamb throughout eternity
Chapter Summary
Chapter 1: Hold on church, I am coming soon
This chapter gives the author of the letter, John, who receives a message from the Triune God. The Lord is coming with all authority to judge all the tribes of the earth. Therefore, this tells you the letter has worldwide impact. No doubt, this is great encouragement for those under severe persecution. Just like the 1st church was under great persecution, the last church will be under the ultimate level of persecution from the Dragon, Beast and False Prophet. We get a powerful description of our Lord. I see the Lord functioning as high priest and walking in the midst of his church, the 7 golden candlesticks.
Chapter 2, 3: I know where you are, keep fighting
Like the entire New Testament, the message is for the current as well as future church. The Lord lets us know he has authority to be judge, jury and executioner. Lets us know he is aware of our works, we must be holy, commands us to repent if necessary and promises punishment for those who disobey, but rewards for those who overcome (Rev 12:11).
Chapter 4: The magnificent throne of God
We get a beautiful picture of the 4 living creatures before the throne. Isaiah tells us these beings are Seraphim, each one has 4 faces and 6 wings. It appears each face represents one of the gospels. No doubt, these creatures are extremely powerful! John gives us the Lion (Gospel of Matthew), the Calf (Gospel of Mark), the Man (Gospel of Luke) and the Eagle (Gospel of John), in the same order as the gospels. We also see the 24 elders which I understand to represent the 12 Sons of Israel (Old Covenant Saints) and 12 Apostles (New Covenant Saints) or the church in heaven. These images gives us a glimpse of the magnificent Throne of God.
Chapter 5: The Lamb takes the scroll
The Father is sitting on the throne and the Lamb receives authority to open the seals and judge the earth. After our Lord’s resurrection, he said all authority was given to him in heaven and on earth. The worship by the 4 living creatures, myriad of angels and 24 elders are strong because they see the full cost to the Godhead to bring everything into existence as well as redeem mankind. Currently, we only see in part the cost to the Godhead. My friends, the clearer we see the cost to the Godhead to redeem us, we run from our sin!
Chapter 6 thru 9: Saints sealed before judgment
Throughout these chapters, we get the powerful 7 seals and 6 trumpet judgments, sealing of the 144,000 and are told a great multitude comes out of the great tribulation. I see the 144,000 representing the church on earth. However, during this time, I see God focusing more on saving ethnic Jews. At the 5th trumpet, demons are released on earth to torment men for 5 months. I believe these demons will be masquerading as aliens or some other intelligent life. All who are not sealed by the Holy Spirit are tormented and completely deceived. It appears the seals open slow, trumpets blow faster and bowls are poured out the fastest.
Chapter 10: Do not write the 7 thunders message
This enormous angel descends from heaven with a little book in his hand and steps one foot on land, another on the sea and cried out a message from the 7 thunders. However, John is not allowed to disclose these details, but is told to take the book and eat it. I see John as a picture of believers at that time. Obviously, John cannot deliver the message because he is locked up on Patmos. During the tribulation period, we must continue to deliver the sweet option of eternal paradise as well as bitter option of eternal suffering.
Chapter 11: The 2 prophets deliver God’s judgments
John is told to rise and measure the temple, but leave out the outer court because it has been given to the Gentiles. The 2 witnesses have authority for 42 months to prophesy and their ministry commences when the beast rises. I believe the 2 witnesses will be delivering the judgments on earth which correspond to some seals, trumpets and bowls. This is similar to how Moses and Aaron delivered God’s judgments during their time. The beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit kills the 2 prophets and their dead bodies are laid out for 3 /12 days. The 7th trumpet is blown, the temple in heaven is opened and we see God’s ark, which represents his eternal covenant with us. For those of us who overcome, God promises to exist with us forever. We praise the Lord for taking dominion over the earth. Remember, Satan offered this to the Lord during the temptation in the wilderness.
Chapter 12: Good vs Evil
I see this as a picture of Satan fighting against God and trying to stop God’s plan to redeem mankind through the Messiah. In Genesis, God put enmity between the Kingdom of God and Kingdom of Satan. At this point, his time to accuse us before God comes to an end and there is war in heaven. Michael and his holy angels kicks Satan and his fallen angels out of heaven. After this heavenly war, there is intense persecution of the woman, who I believe to be ethnic Jews and her offspring, which are Christians. Now, Satan is fully aware his reign of terror is about over.
Chapter 13: The final beast kingdom
We get the rise of 2 beasts, details regarding the mark and the command not to receive it. The 1st beast has authority along with 10 kings for 42 months. At this time, the world is essentially reprobate. Notice how this beast is represented by the same animals in Daniel’s dreams. Also, the mark will go on your body and be connected to the money because you will need it to buy or sell. I do not believe the mark of the beast is symbolic so please do not receive something in or permanently on your body to process a financial transaction. As long as physical money is accepted, I do not believe the mark can be implemented. Once the mark is introduced in our world, our faith will be tested at the ultimate level.
Chapter 14, 15: Martyrdom and the 7 bowl judgments
Many martyrs die, including the 144,000 and John sees a sea of believers before the throne. We are told they came out of the great tribulation. We get the Lord pictured as riding on a cloud ready to unleash the bowl judgments. There is a major battle which takes place around this chapter, perhaps somewhere in the middle east. I see deaths of the 144,000 and sea of believers occurring all during the tribulation. Remember, there will be intense persecution of the saints for time, times and 1/2 or time or the last half of Daniel’s 70th week prophecy.
Chapter 16: The final 7 bowl judgments
The 7 bowl judgments are unleased and those with the mark develop painful sores on their body. Remember, I believe the mark is physically required on your body. This verse is somewhat difficult to interpret if the mark is only symbolic. Also, it appears prior to this bowl judgment, the world has been on the mark for a while being convinced it is just another form of technology. Satan, the Beast and False Prophet, the Unholy Trinity have gathered the world to fight the Lord. They are so deceived and probably think aliens are invading.
Chapter 17, 18: Mystery Babylon exposed and judged
These chapters provide a vivid description of the beast, false religion, materialism and how seductive living in the flesh or this fallen world can be. The worshiping of false religion or loving things of this world will ultimately cost us our souls. The Lord judges the corrupt demons as well as mankind and we hear a final cry to come out of her, that is Babylon, my people. At this point, I am unsure if some can still be saved? Mystery Babylon is symbolic of this fallen world, the Kingdom of Satan, the Kingdom of Darkness, the Kingdom of the Beast, Walking in the Flesh, the Old Man, False Religion, Walking in Darkness, etc. The Bible says we are in the world but not of the world. This means even though we exist in this fallen world, our heart is always with the Lord.
Chapter 19: Praise and the Battle of Armageddon
Praise goes up to the Lord for judging the world. Recall this was asked for by the saints under the altar when the 5th seal was opened. We get a picture of the King of kings and Lord of lords coming in the clouds with the saints, while the enemies are opposing. I see this as the battle of Armageddon, as well as the Ezekiel 38 and 39 Gog and Magog war. The battle appears swift and the Beast as well as his partner, the False Prophet are cast into the lake of fire to receive eternal torment.
Chapter 20: We reign, final rebellion and final judgment
Satan is bound in the bottomless pit for a 1,000 years, which is separate from the lake of fire. Afterward, the 1st resurrection takes place. I see the rapture occurring after this event, therefore my view of the rapture is post tribulation or at the climax of the great tribulation. Paul says the dead in Christ will rise 1st and the text says this is the 1st resurrection. I do not believe the resurrection of the Old Testament saints bodies in Matthew 27 is a complete resurrection because the New Testament saints bodies are still in the grave.
After the 1,000 years Satan is loosed, deceives a vast number of people on the earth and they come up to attack us in Jerusalem. We are not told how long it will take Satan to rally the troops in this final act of rebellion. We know they will already be upset because the Lord is withholding rain from the rebellious nations. No doubt, they will be convinced that our alien technology is somehow controlling the weather. The text says fire comes down from heaven and devours them.
Next is the great white throne judgment. All the bodies and souls not apart of the 1st resurrection are resurrected to this judgment of condemnation (Dan 12:2, John 5:29). The text says anyone not found in the book of life is cast into the the lake of fire, which is the 2nd death. Since death is thrown into the lake of fire we cannot die anymore. I remember the Lord giving me a dream where he told me, Marvin whoever gets in the lake of fire they cannot get out.
The text says the dead will be judged according to their works. Again, the Bible is referring to these souls as dead, yet they are existing. Also, according to their works means everyone will not receive the same level of punishment. Remember our Lord said, the servant which knew his masters will and did not do it, will receive many stripes verses the other servant (Luke 12:47). Our Lord said it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah than for certain cities in the judgment (Mat 10:15). I hope, but unsure if the people born during the millennium will have an opportunity for salvation. Blessed is those apart of the 1st resurrection, over which the 2nd death, has no power.
Chapter 21: New Jerusalem, the Lamb’s Bride
John sees a new heaven and earth, which is the eternal state. New Jerusalem is pictured as a beautiful colorful city with no need of the sun or moon, because God’s presence provides the light. The specific dimensions and foundations of the new city are provided. I believe the dazzling description of New Jerusalem is a picture of how splendid we will be, God’s beautiful Bride. Just think of how spectacular the wedding dress is of a bride. Remember, Daniel said those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever.
Chapter 22: Joy and healing in the eternal state
The pure water of life flowing from the throne is probably a reference to the Holy Spirit. The monthly production of the leaves used for healing probably means some healing will occur over time or quite possibly throughout eternity. Access to the tree of life is restored, you recall we lost this in the Garden of Eden. There is a final warning from the Lord encouraging us to continue living holy because he is coming quickly. We are told to beware of the dogs outside the city. The dogs are not a reference to little animals but all who perished in the lake of fire. We are commanded not to change the words of this book or we will be sorry. Notice how the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is not apart of the new creation. Our testing period ends after this age. Yes Lord! Remember, Job said after I am tried, I will come forth as gold!
Chapter 1 Review
Scripture: The revelation is of Jesus Christ and lets us know things which must shortly take place. The introduction promises a blessing to anyone who reads and keeps the words for the time is at hand. Insight: When our Lord came he was veiled or clothed in human skin and his true mission was somewhat obscure. The revelation unveils the true essence, purpose and destiny of the Lord. When you consider the work of this creation from start to finish, it is definitely a short work God is doing on the earth. Notice the blessing is not just for those who read or hear but to those who keep the things written. Reference: For he will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth (Rom 9:28). Our Lord said why do you call me Lord and do not do the things I command (Luke 6:46). But the end of all things is at hand, therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers (2 Pet 4:7). Establish your hearts for the coming of the Lord is at hand (James 5:8).
Scripture: John must bear witness to the Word of God, testimony of Jesus Christ and what he has seen. Insight: We all must bear witness to the word of God, to the testimony of Jesus Christ and the experiences we are having with God. Reference: They overcame him by the blood of the lamb, word of their testimony and did not love their life until death (Rev 12:11).
Scripture: There is a greeting to the 7 churches and our position as kings and priests to God and Father. Insight: You can see the dual function of the church as priests and kings before God. We are offering our bodies as living sacrifices and reigning as kings over our sin, the demonic realm, this fallen world and ultimately the 2nd death. Now our Lord is the High Priest, so our holy living is mingled with his eternal blood. Reference: I beseech you brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service (Rom 12:1). You also as living stones are being built up into a spiritual house, a holy priesthood (1 Pet 2:5).
The Holy Trinity
Scripture: The message is from the Triune God. Him who is, who was and who is to come refers to the Father. The 7 Spirits before his throne refers to the Holy Spirit and our Lord Jesus is the Son of God. Insight: The triune nature of the Godhead was somewhat hidden in the Old Testament. Now, God referred to himself as an Us, but we still could not see the separate personalities of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Even when Jesus appeared with his 2 angels to Abraham, we do not get a clear picture of the Trinity. However, now that we are at the end of the age and our Lord has come and sent the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth, much more has been revealed. Reference: Then the Lord God said, behold the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. (Gen 3:22). At the Lord’s baptism, the Triune God presents as Jesus comes out of the water, the Spirit descends like a dove and the Father speaks (Mat 3:16).
Scripture: Behold, he is coming in the clouds and everyone will see him, even those who pierced him and all the earth will mourn because of him. Insight: This indicates all humanity, the living as well as the dead. Remember, our Lord said the hour is coming when all those in the grace will hear his voice and be resurrected. However, this does not mean all will be resurrected at the same time. Reference: For you shall see the son of man sitting at the right hand of power and coming on the clouds of heaven (Mat 26:64). Enoch the 7th from Adam testifies, I see the Lord coming with 10,000 saints to execute judgment (Jude 14). We who are troubled now will rest when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in flaming fire (2 The 1:7). For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, the voice of an archangel and trumpet of God (1 The 4:16).
Scripture: I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord, the one who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. Insight: Jesus is claiming to have the same eternal attributes as the Father in Revelation 1:4, no doubt our Lord is fully God.
Scripture: John was experiencing tribulation and persecution being banished to the island of Patmos for testifying about the Lord. Insight: As we inch closer to our Lord’s return, which he is assuring me will be in my sister Deborah’s lifetime, persecution of the believer will increase. There will be attacks from the governments, general public, unsaved friends, family and no doubt, the demonic realm. My friends, it is going to get harder to read your Bible, pray and perform routine spiritual disciplines. Also, for those who wear Christian apparel like John 3:16 and other articles in public, it is going to irritate more people. The reason is Satan’s demonic kingdom is rising. References: For you will have tribulation in this world, but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world (John 16:33). For he will speak evil of the Most High and wear out the saints for a time, times and 1/2 a time (Dan 7:25).
The vision of the Son of Man
Scripture: I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day and heard a voice like the sound of a trumpet. Insight: I believe being in the Spirit just means John is experiencing this as a vision but could also mean he is actually transported into the future. In context here, the Lord’s Day is a reference to the final judgment against evil because we see what occurs when he opens the 7 seal, 7 trumpet and 7 bowl judgments. Reference: Before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord (Joel 2:31). But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night (2 Pet 3:10). For you yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief (1 The 5:2). For more insight on the day of the Lord, please follow this link. The day of the Lord
Scripture: Our Lord is clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. Insight: Our Lord is wearing the special garments and golden band on his chest designed by the Father. Exodus 28 describes the special garments and breastplates designed by God for the priesthood. You notice that all the articles of the temple and the streets of New Jerusalem are covered with gold. Also, Paul tells us if our works are of gold, they will last.
Scripture: His head and hair is white like wool, eyes like a flame of fire and feet like brass refined in a furnace. Insight: I see the white representing his sinless nature, while the wool representing his going forth has been from eternity. Our God is a consuming fire, his eyes sees everything and will definitely test our works. Our Lord’s feet was bruised by Satan at the crucifixion and he was tested or refined by the Father. Reference: He was transfigured before them and his face shone like the sun and his clothes became as white as light (Mat 17:2). Then Jesus was led up into wilderness by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil (Mat 4:1).
Scripture: His voice is the sound of many waters. Insight: The Lords voice is similar to powerful ocean waves and this could also refer to angels echoing the Lord’s voice when he speaks. References: When they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of many waters like the voice of the Almighty, a tumult like the noise of an army (Eze 1:24). And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even in the outer court, like the voice of the Almighty God when he speaks (Eze 10:5).
Scripture: John said when I saw him I fell at his feet like dead. But he laid his right hand on me saying do not be afraid I am he who lives, was dead and I am alive forevermore and have the keys to Death and Hades. Insight: No matter how close we are to the Holy Spirit and I am extremely close, we are always humbled in the Lord’s presence. Again, our Lord has the same attributes as the Father in Revelation 1:4. Also, the Lord completes the words in Revelation 1:4: The one who is refers to “he who lives”, the one who was refers to “him who was dead” and the one is to come refers to “him who lives forevermore”. This statement also means Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, which means Jesus has always existed and definitely not a created being. The keys represent the only one who can let you out of death and hades. No doubt, a prison for the soul. References: Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell (Mat 10:28).
Scripture: John is told to write the things which he has seen and the things which are and the things which will take place after this. Insights: The things which you have seen or the past, the things which are or the present and the things which shall take place after this or the future. Remember, John saw that 5 heads of the beast had fallen, 1 was existing and the 1 comings would continue for a short time. John also saw the beast and false prophet thrown into the lake of fire, the dead in Christ come back to life, the 1,000 year reign, Satan’s final rebellion, the great white throne judgment, New Jerusalem descending like a bride and the new heaven and earth. In other words, John was shown from the beginning to the end. Reference: I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last (Rev 22:13).
Scripture: Our Lord is holding the 7 stars in his right hand and walking among the 7 golden candlesticks. Insight: The stars are a reference to the leaders of the churches rather than angelic messengers because the message commands repentance and perseverance in holiness. Fallen angels cannot repent and I believe the holy angels testing period is over. We see a picture of the Lord moving among us, his church. Reference: You shall also make a lampstand of pure gold, the lampstand shall be of hammered work and you shall make 7 lamps for it (Lev 25:31-37). And he said to me, what do you see? So I said I am looking and there is a lampstand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it and on the stand 7 lamps with 7 pipes to the 7 lamps (Zec 4:2). Let your light shin before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Mat 5:16).
Chapter 2 Review
The message to the 7 churches
Insight: Similar to how the 7 seals, 7 trumpets and 7 bowls represent the complete wrath of God, I see the message to the 7 churches speaking to the church throughout time. Now I definitely believe the message to the 7 churches addressed what was happening during John’s time, the birth of the church. We know certain characters and doctrines were happening before our Lord’s church started. For instance, the church of Pergamos is warned about the doctrine of Balaam, while Thyatira is warned concerning Jezebel. Both of these characters lived during the time of the kings.
Insight: The primary message is the Lord knows our works, they must be holy, repent if necessary or punishment is coming and whoever overcomes receives the reward. The message can encourage a believer during periods of persecution and convict during periods of material abundance, lukewarmness, etc. I see the message to the 7 churches doing the same thing as the parable in Matthew 13, they cause the believer to take inventory of their present lifestyle and make adjustments if necessary.
The Church of Ephesus: The loveless believer
Scripture: Our Lord is the one with the 7 stars walking in the midst of the 7 golden candlesticks. You have some good works, cannot bear those who are evil and have tested those who say they are Jews and are not. You have also labored for my name and have not become weary. However, you have left your first love so repent and do the first works or I will come and remove your lampstand. However, you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans which I also hate. He who has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. He who overcomes will have the right to eat of the tree of life in the midst of the Paradise of God.
Insight: Again, we see our Lord walking in the midst of his church. The Lord knows our works and are grateful when we test the spirits and use discernment. Remember, the Lord says you will know them by their fruits. There are a lot of people who claim to be Christian but their lifestyle deny God’s holy standards. Now we are warned that just performing actions but not really walking in love toward the Lord or our fellow man, is not going to get it done. Remember, our Lord said these people honor me with their lips but their heart is far from me. Within the prodigal son parable, the older son was serving God but had no compassion for his lost brother. My friends, always examine your thoughts and feelings toward the Lord. If you have lost the joy of talking to, singing to, doing the Lord’s work or longing for heaven, then ask the Holy Spirit to give you a fresh touch. I am unsure who the Nicolaitans are, but they were probably like the Pharisees and Sadducees, who the Lord said their doctrine was hypocrisy. In other words, you are only following the Lord when others see you. Our Lord is the tree of life because the Bible says God has placed eternal life in Christ.
Reference: For if you forgive men their trespasses your heavenly father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive men, neither will your heavenly father forgive you (Mat 6:14). Let no root of bitterness spring up into you whereby some are defiled (Heb 12:15). Because iniquity or sin will abound, the love of many will wax cold (Mat 24:12). And this is his commandment that we should believe on his Son Jesus Christ and love one another (1 John 3:23). If you hear his voice do not harden your heart as the children of Israel did during their wandering through the desert (Heb 3:15). Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, which has eyes to see but does not see and ears to hear but does not hear for they are a rebellious house (Eze 12:2). Then Jesus said to them, take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees (Mat16:6). He who eats my body and drinks my blood have life (John 6:54). The tree of life will produce fruit every month and the leaves are for the healing of the nations (Revelation 22:2).
The Church of Smyrna: The faithful believer
Scripture: Our Lord described himself as the first and the last, the one who was dead and came back to life. The Lord knows their works, the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but a synagogue of Satan. The Lord said some of the church was about to be thrown into prison and they would have tribulation for 10 days. He tells them to be faithful until death to receive the crown of life. He who overcomes will not be hurt by the 2nd death.
Insight: During times of persecution, we must be reminded that our Lord has experienced death and if we remain faithful, we will receive eternal life. Now, every believer might not have to overcome the test of physical death to enter in, but we must all continue in our faith until physical death. Remember our Lord said do not fear those who can only kill the body, the synagogue of Satan, but fear the one, that is God who can send us to hell. I see the specific reference of 10 days of persecution saying any testing period has a definite time limit, we know Job’s did. We do not have to guess what the 2nd death is. Revelation 21 tells us the lake which burns with fire and brimstone is the 2nd death. This existence was prepared for the devil and his angels but as you can see, it will hold the souls of unredeemed man as well. My friends, I see no Biblical support for annihilation.
Reference: So he said to them, you will indeed drink my cup and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with (Mat 20:23). But none of these things move me, nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy (Acts 20:24). We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God (Acts 14:22). Yes, and all who desire to live Godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution (2 Tim 3:12). In this world you will have tribulation, however be of good cheer for I have overcome the world (John 16:33). Then he will say to those on the left hand, depart from me you cursed into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels (Mat 25:41). Some will be raised to everlasting joy and some to everlasting shame and contempt (Dan 12:2).
The Church of Pergamos: The sinful believer
Scripture: Our Lord has the sharp two-edged sword. He knows their works and where they live, where Satan’s throne is. Our Lord commended them for remaining faithful, just like Antipas did during his day. This church was rebuked for holding the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak how to cause the children of Israel to eat things sacrificed to idols and commit sexual immorality. They where also rebuked for holding the doctrine of the Nicolaitans. Repent or I will come quickly and fight against them with the sword of my mouth. He who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat, a white stone and new name.
Insight: Our Lord let’s us know he has the sharp two-edged sword. What this means is the word of God, the Bible reveals everything in our life and we must use it to refine our lives. Remember, the Lord said the words I speak to you will judge you in the end. Satan has worldwide authority down here because he offered this to the Lord in exchange for worship and the Lord did not dispute his claim. I have no idea who Antipas was but the phrase, in the days appear to point to a time before the church of Pergamos was formed. Balaam was the corrupt prophet who taught the king Balak how to get God to curse the children of Israel while marching toward the promise land. Even if we have experienced God, practicing sexual immorality or allowing idolatry in our lives, which means serving our flesh, will bring God’s judgment on us. The reference to quick judgment just means do not continue in sin, but repent as soon as possible. The hidden manna means eternal life is not something easily found so we must search for it. The white stone given with a new name symbolizes the born again process and speaks of intimacy with the Godhead throughout all eternity.
Reference: The word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword separating body, soul and spirit (Heb 4:12). Then the devil showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time and said all this authority I will give you and their glory for they have been delivered to me and I give it to whomever I wish (Luke 3:5). Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Pet 5:8). We know that we are of God and the whole world lies under the sway or influence of the wicked one (1 John 5:19). Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts (Rom 6:12). He who called you is holy, therefore we must be holy in all our conduct (1 Pet 1:15). For certain men have crept in and turned the grace of our Lord into lewdness or unholy living (Jude 4). I was crushed by their adulterous heart and by their eyes which play the harlot after their idols. They will loathe themselves for the evils which they committed (Eze 6:9).
The Church of Thyatira: The sinful believer
Scripture: These things says the Son of God who has eyes of fire and feet of fine brass. The Lord knows their works and says the last are more than the first. However, they have allowed Jezebel, who called herself a prophetess to teach and seduce his servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. The Lord gave Jezebel time to repent but she did not. The Lord is going to cast here into a sickbed and those who sin with her into great tribulation, unless they repent. The Lord will kill her children with death. The Lord is the one who searches the hearts and will give each of us according to our works. The Lord says to many in Thyatira who do not have this doctrine and do not know the depths of Satan, he will put no other burden on them. However, hold fast what you have until I come. He who overcomes I will give power over the nations to rule them and I will give him the Morning Star.
Insight: Our Lord claims to be the Son of God whose eyes will judge us. This means that we cannot hide anything from the Lord. We know our Lord was tested by the Father and tempted by Satan, so his feel are like fine brass. Again, we are warned that even if we have Godly works, they are not going to excuse sinful practices. Jezebel was the wicked queen during the time of Elijah the prophet. It is interesting that the Lord said he gave even this wicked queen time to repent. My friends, if we get sin in our lives, the Lord will give us time to repent. If God called our number the first time sin showed up in our lives, no one makes it! However, we must not think we are still saved while practicing sin. In the context here, I see the sickbed as a result of a person’s specific unrepentant sin. I will kill her children with death means I will send the wicked to hell and ultimately the lake of fire, if they do not change. I see the depth of Satan as us not understanding the mystery of iniquity or sin. Satan is crafty as he tries to get us to disobey the Lord and fall into sin, so we must be on our guard. We stay on guard by ordering our lives around the Lord. For those who overcome, like the 24 elders, we will sit on thrones ruling the nations with the Lord. The Morning Star is the Lord and he will give us his presence completely on the other side.
Reference: The Lord is slow to anger, not willing any should perish, but all would come to repentance (2 Pet 3:8). O’ faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? (Mat 17:17). Do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing the goodness of the Lord leads you to repentance (Rom 2:4). Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul (1 Pet 2:11). For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men (Rom 1:16). That you would walk worthy of God who calls you into his own kingdom and glory (1 The 2:12). For we have spent enough of our past lifetime walking in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries (1 Pet 4:3). For do you not know that we will judge angels, then how is it that you cannot judge things pertaining to this life (1 Cor 6). I Jesus have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star (Rev 22:16).
Chapter 3 Review
The Church of Sardis: The dead believer
Scripture: The Lord reminds them he has the 7 Spirits of God and 7 stars. This church has a name or appearance of life but is actually dead. The main message is strengthen what’s left and be watchful or I will come upon you as a thief. However a few have not defiled their garments and they will walk with the Lord in white for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life. The Lord promises to confess their name before the Father and before his angels.
Insight: Our Lord is claiming to possess the Holy Spirit and authority over the 7 stars or the complete church. James tells us faith without works is dead. In other words, they are saying they are Christians but still practicing sin. Do you honestly think these people are saved? The command is for them to repent and watch or the Lord will come upon them like a thief. My friends, if we are not in a born again state, we are dead to the Lord but alive to sin. The Lord warns us that if we are living in this state, do not think we have forever to get it right because he can come upon us like a thief. This is why the Bible says today is the day of salvation. However, throughout the church history, there will always be a remnant of people living holy. Now the white garments represent the righteous acts of the saints and we know the only place our names must be written is in the Lamb’s book of life. I interpret a statement like, he who overcomes will not have his name blotted out as once your name is there, there is a possibility it can be blotted out. Trust me my friends, once saved always saved is a dangerous doctrine, this is why I preach we must continue in holiness until our last breath!
Reference: They profess to know God but in works they deny him, being abominable, disobedient and disqualified (Tit 1:16). The Lord told the crowds you are following me because you were fed. Don’t labor for the food that perishes but for the food which leads to eternal life (John 6:27). Strive to enter the narrow gate for many will try but not be able (Luke 13:24). The white garments are the righteous acts of the saints (Rev 19:8). Every branch in me which does not bear fruit is cast out (John 15:2). Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another and the Lord listened and heard them. So a book of remembrance was written before him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on his name (Mal 3:16).
The Church of Philadelphia: The faithful believer
Scripture: Our Lord says he is holy and true, has the key of David and whatever he opens, no one shuts and whatever he shuts, no one opens. The Lord says this church as a little strength and have kept his name. He will make those of Satan come and worship before their feet. Also, because they have persevered, the Lord promises to keep this church from the test that is coming upon the whole earth. The Lord promises to come quickly, but encourages them to hold fast to your crown so no one can take it. He who overcomes shall be a pillar in the temple of his God and have the name of his God and his name written on them. Our Lord says the name of the city of his God is the New Jerusalem.
Insight: Remember our Lord said he was the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by him. My friends, there is no salvation outside Christ, only the wrath of God. Our Lord is saying that all the promises given to David will be realized through him, because he has David’s key. I see the Lord opening and shutting doors as a metaphor for direction we are given in this life to proceed or pause our efforts to build the church. Ultimately, we will reign with the Lord and every knee shall bow and tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. I understand the test being the great tribulation and we will be kept from falling during that time. I do not believe in a secret rapture where all the Christians are removed just before the tribulation starts. We hold fast to our crown by denying ourself, picking up our cross and following the Lord. Once we make it to the New Jerusalem or Paradise, God’s presence will fill us completely.
Reference: A woman from Canaan came and worshiped him admitting he was the Son of David (Mat 15:22). The key means I am the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and loosed on earth will be loosed in heaven (Mat 16:19). Our actions on earth have eternal consequences. Workout your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you (Phil 2:12). For behold the day is coming and all the proud, yes all who do wickedly will be stubble. The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in his wings. You shall trample the wicked under the soles of your feet (Mal 4). Unto him who is able to keep you from falling and present you perfect before the presence of his Glory (Jude 24). That 2/3 in it shall be cut off and die, but 1/3 shall be left in it and I will bring the 1/3 through the fire, will refine them as silver is refined and test them as gold is tested (Zec 13:8).
The Church of Laodicea: The lukewarm believer
Scripture: Our Lord is the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God. He knows this church’s works and they are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot, but because you are lukewarm, I will vomit you out. Because you say I am rich and have become wealthy and have no need of nothing and do not know you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. I call upon you to buy gold and silver tried in the fire that your nakedness is not exposed and eye slave that you might see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten, therefore be zealous and repent. Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears and opens I will come in and dine with him and he with me. He who overcomes will sit on the Lord’s throne as he overcame and sat down on his Father’s throne.
Insight: Our Lord is claiming to be eternally faithful and true, the one who started everything and will end everything. This is just another way of the Lord saying he is the Alpha and Omega, Beginning and End, the First and Last. Our Lord is the complete image or manifestation of God. This message lets us know that having one foot in the church and one foot in the world, will cause the Lord to vomit us out. Jesus said you are either for me or against me and no one can serve two masters. Our Lord is selling us eternal life but you can only buy it by living a sacrificial, obedient life. The Bible tells us not to resist when God disciplines us because he loves us and does not want us to perish with the unbelieving world. Standing and knocking at the door means God is trying to patiently enter our house or life but we must open the door or allow him into our lives. Remember, our Lord says he who builds his house or life on him will weather the storms. Our Lord overcame Satan’s temptations and is sitting on the Father’s throne, we to must overcome Satan’s temptations to reign on the Lord’s throne. Reference: But if that evil servant says in his heart, my master is delaying his coming and begins to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of and cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Mat 24:48). Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God (Jam 4:4). The kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it (Mat 13:45). Yes, you who have no money, come buy wine and milk without money and without price (Isa 55:1). My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by him. For whom the Lord loves, he chastens and scourges every son whom he receives (Heb 12:5).
Chapter 4 Review
The Throne of God
Scripture: John sees a door open and hears a voice like a trumpet saying come up here. He sees someone on the throne shining like a jasper and sardius stone with what appears to be an emerald rainbow around the throne. Then he sees 24 thrones and 24 elders sitting on them with white robes and crowns of gold on their heads. He sees 7 lamps of fire, which are the 7 Spirits of God, along with a sea of glass before the throne. Then around the throne and in the midst of the throne he sees 4 living creatures full of eyes. He sees the 1st creature with a face like a lion, 2nd like a calf, 3rd like a man and 4th like a flying eagle. Each of the beings have 6 wings and are crying out holy, holy, holy to the Lord, who was and is and is to come. After these creatures speak, the 24 elders falls down before the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever.
Insight: Notice, John does not see the Lamb who was slain yet, but sees the Son of God, because the 24 elders are worshipping him who created all things. We know from Scripture that God created everything through his word and now his word has been manifested as the Son of God. In Revelation 1, the Father and the Lord both refer to themselves as he who was, is and is to come. I see one aspect of the rainbow around God’s throne serving to remind him of the covenant not to destroy everything by water again. It is interesting that the 1st foundation of New Jerusalem is jasper and the 6th or middle foundation is sardius. This appears to say our Lord is remaking us from his eternal substance.
The 24 elders and 4 living creatures
Insight: I see the 24 elders as the church in heaven representing the 12 tribes of Israel and 12 apostles of the lamb, essentially the Old and New Covenant saints. For those of you who thought there was going to be a different section in heaven based on Christian denominations, I must disappoint you. Revelation 5 tells us the 24 elders were redeemed by God out of every tribe, tongue, people and nation. The 24 elders are not angelic beings because the Bible says he does not give aid to the angels. God has made them kings and priests and they shall reign on the earth. Ezekiel sees each of the 4 living beings possessing all 4 faces, which allows them to change direction without turning their body. He also sees wheels or rims with eyes attached to them, along with hands under their wings. Isaiah calls these beings Seraphim and he saw each being having 6 wings. I see the 4 living creatures as powerful angelic beings reflecting a particular aspect of the Lord’s ministry.
The 1st living creature: Face like a lion
Insight: The lion face reflects the gospel of Matthew, the promised Messiah. Matthew’s gospel provides the most quotes from the Old Testament writers. His goal is to show that our Lord is the promised Messiah through the virgin birth of Mary, thus fulfillment of the promise given in Genesis. I remember reading an article that said the probability of one person fulfilling 8 of the Old Testament Messianic prophecies is 1 out of 10 to 17th power. Now, I read there are over 300 Old Testament prophecies related to the Messiah. His gospel also gives us the genealogy from Abraham to Jesus to show the promise given to Abraham was fulfilled. God told Abraham that through you, that is through the Messiah, all the nations will be blessed.
The 2nd living creature: Face like a calf
Insight: The calf face reflects the gospel of Mark where the Lord is the suffering servant in Isiah 53. Mark’s gospel focuses more on the Lord’s miracles and acts of service. It is the shortest gospel. Yes, the Lord wants us to serve and help others with physical things, because we must not just love in word but also in deed. However, we must remember not to labor for the food that perishes, but the food that leads to eternal life.
The 3rd living creature: Face like a man
Insight: The man face reflects the gospel of Luke where a child is born of a virgin in Isiah 9. We also see the Child born to the woman in Revelation 12. In other words, our Lord was a human being. This gospel gives us more details surrounding the Lord’s birth and the incident when the Lord was 12 years old. Again, Luke’s gospel let’s us know that the Godhead became a man. My friends, the Lord was born under the law and never broke it, yet he died. Therefore, as a human being, his death satisfies our sin debt, because he did not have any. Again, within the mystery of the born again process, the Godhead is accepting the Lord’s death as payment for our sin.
The 4th living creature: Face like a eagle
Insight: The eagle face reflects the gospel of John where a Son is given who is the Son of God in Isiah 9. This gospel let’s us know the Lord existed before coming to earth as a member of the Godhead. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. This gospel focuses more on the Lord claiming to be God. He claimed he was without sin, claimed he had the power to forgive sin, claimed he had power to resurrect himself from the dead, claimed he had authority to resurrect all humanity, claimed he was the good shepherd, claimed he was the I AM from exodus, claimed he was the only way to God, claimed he was the Son of God, claimed he should be honored just like the Father and claimed he had authority to send the Holy Spirit.
Insight: The 7 spirits of God are a reference to the 7 Spirits from Revelation 1, which is a reference to the Holy Spirit. The sea of glass like crystal is not ready for judgment just yet. When we get to Revelation 15, this sea of glass will be mingled with fire. This is a picture of the grandeur and majesty of God being worshipped by his creation. These beings see the complete cost to the Godhead for bringing everything into existence and redeeming us. While on earth, we only see a glimpse of this cost.
Reference: For he himself is our peace who has made both, that is Jew and Gentile, one and has broken down the middle wall of separation (Eph 2:14). Also from within it came the likeness of 4 living creatures. And this was their appearance, they had the likeness of a man, each one had 4 faces and 4 wings, feet like the soles of calves, the hands of a man under their wings (Eze 1). In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim, each one had 6 wings, with 2 he covered his face, with 2 he covered his feet and with 2 he flew (Isa 6). And when he comes, speaking of the Holy Spirit, he will convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:8). However, when he, the Spirit of truth has come, he will guide you into all truth (John 16:13). For by him, that is Jesus, all things were created that are in heaven and that are on the earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through him and for him (Col 2:16).
Chapter 5 Review
Scripture: John sees a scroll in the right hand of him sitting on the throne. He weeps because no one was found worthy to open the scroll. One of the 24 elders tells him the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David can open it. He looks and sees a Lamb in the midst of the throne having 7 Horns and 7 Eyes, which are the 7 Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. The Lamb takes the scroll and the 4 living creatures and 24 elders, who have bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints, break out in song. Then he looks again and hears the voices of many angels, 10,000 x 10,000 and 1,000s of 1,000s saying with a loud voice, worthy is the Lamb who was slain. Then he sees every creature in heaven, on earth and in the sea praising the Lamb. Finally, the 4 living creatures and 24 elders say amen to him who lives forever and ever.
The 7 seal judgments
Insight: No doubt, the Lord Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, declared by John the Baptist during his ministry. The Lamb possessing the 7 Spirits of God sent out into all the earth is probably a reference to the Holy Spirit convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgement. Our Lord said I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears me and opens the door, my Father and I will come into them. Based upon what happens when the scroll opens, it definitely represents judgment. I believe the 7 seals represent the unleashing of the complete judgment against mankind, Satan and the other fallen angelic beings. Remember, Ezekiel and Zechariah both saw scrolls which represented national and regional judgments.
Insight: We know Satan and the fallen angels have already been judged, now comes the releasing or execution of those judgments. On several occasions, the demons begged the Lord not to send them to the abyss before the time. You notice at this point, how the church in heaven, the 24 elders, the 4 living creatures and entire angelic host, mankind and the animal kingdom on earth are all praising the Lamb for taking and opening the 7 seals. Revelation 12 tells us that 1/3 of the angles fell and 2/3, which is this vast number John sees, remained faithful to God. My friends, God and us desperately want people saved, however at this point, we are thanking God for bringing judgment.
Reference: All authority was given to the Lord after his resurrection (Mat 28:18, 1 John 5:20). For these 7 rejoiced to see the plumbline in the hands of Zerubbabel (Zec 4:10). For behold, I am bringing forth my Servant the Branch. For behold, the stone that I have laid before Joshua, upon the stone are 7 eyes (Zec 3:8). Ezekiel’s scroll was written on both sides when God judged Jerusalem with Babylon (Eze 3:1). Then I turned and raised my eyes and saw there a flying scroll. Then he said to me, this is the curse that goes out over the face of the whole earth. Every thief shall be expelled according to this side and every perjurer shall be expelled according to that side of it (Zec 5:1).
Chapter 6 Review
The 1st Seal: The white horse
Scripture: When the Lamb opens the 1st seal, John is told to look and he sees a white horse. The rider has a bow, a crown was given to him and he went out conquering and to conquer.
Insight: I believe this rider represents the beginning of the final deception coming upon the earth. This is definitely not the rider on the white horse in Revelation 19, which is the true Christ. No doubt, this rider is the coming Antichrist. John does not see arrows for the bow. Now, once a seal is opened it cannot be resealed, so I see deception starting small, then increasing until blatant, worldwide worship of the Unholy Trinity. Remember, deception goes back to the Garden of Eden because Eve was deceived by the Serpent. I see the bow without arrows meaning the Antichrist can only conquer our physical bodies, but cannot pierce our eternal souls. Even though he will be conquering through a false peace, he will still be a man of war, however the ultimate war has always been for the human soul. My friends, the mystery of iniquity is already at work in the sons of disobedience.
Reference: Many false teachers have gone out into the world (1 John 4:1). Jesus answered, take heed that no one deceives you for many will come in my name and will deceive many (Mat 24:4, 11). Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves (Mat 7:15). For this reason I shall send them strong delusion that they may believe the lie (2 The 2:11). For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ (2 Cor 11:13). But Pharaoh also called the wise men and sorcerers and their rods became serpents (Exo 7:11-12).
The 2nd Seal: The red horse
Scripture: When he opened the 2nd seal, John sees a fiery red horse coming to take peace from the earth and there was given to him a great sword.
Insights: The opening of the 2nd seal will unleash conflict on earth and rob her of peace by bringing war with a great sword. My friends, there have been small wars and conflicts since the beginning of time. Also, given the current condition of man’s hearts and rise of the demonic realm, any peace is tenuous at best. I understand this as the beginning of war among the world’s superpowers. For instance, when a nuclear powered nation begins a war against another nuclear powered nation. I see the great sword as the nations of the earth now using weapons of mass destruction, that are nuclear, chemical, biological and technological. Again, wars have always been occurring but now is time for the final conflict to begin. Our earth has experienced 2 World Wars and I believe the opening of this seal brings the ultimate world conflict.
Reference: Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering (Dan 9:27). For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom and there will be famines, pestilences and earthquakes (Mat 24:7). For when they say peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them as labor pains on a pregnant woman (1 The 5:3).
The 3rd Seal: The black horse
Scripture: When he opened the 3rd seal, John sees a black horse and the rider has a pair of scales in his hand. He hears one of the living creatures say a quart of wheat for a denarius and 3 quarts of barley for a denarius and do not harm the oil and wine.
Insight: After the use of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons on a worldwide scale, large amounts of infrastructure has been destroyed and much of the ecological system is contaminated. Therefore, much of the worlds farming and supply chain has been crippled, so basic economics kick in. We see a denarius or day’s wage can only buy the most basic produce such as wheat and barley. However, no harm comes to the oil and wine so some people enjoy luxury a bit longer.
The 4th Seal: The pale horse
Scripture: When he opens the 4th seal, John sees a pale horse and the name of him who sat on it is Death and Hades follows with him. We are told that power was given to these horses over a 4th of the earth, to kill with sword, hunger, death and the beasts of the earth.
Insight: You have heard the saying death rides a pale horse, well this is where that comes from. The words Hades is following Death just means after we die, there will be a judgment resulting in heaven or hell. I see the effects of the 4 seals resulting in approximately 1.5 billion death occurring over the last 42 months of the tribulation or a 3 1/2 year period. Again, I see these seals having a global impact. Deaths are a result of the great sword in the form of nuclear, chemical, biological and technological weaponry. Starvation will be a result of radiation in food and water supply. Many people will die from heart attacks due to fear and anxiety as their hearts just cannot take it. Also, because most of the worlds infrastructure is destroyed, animals, rodents, insects, viruses, bacteria, etc. will kill many. These 1st 4 seals represent mankind pouring out their wrath on each other. The Lord’s wrath begins with the 1st trumpet judgment.
Reference: Then I turned and raised my eyes and looked and behold, 4 chariots were coming between 2 mountains. The 1st one had red horses, 2nd black, 3rd white and the 4th dappled. Then the strong steeds went out eager to go, that they might walk back and forth throughout the earth (Zec 6:1). How much more it shall be when I send my 4 severe judgments on Jerusalem, the sword, famine, wild beasts and pestilence (Eze 14:21). For then there will be great tribulation such has not been since the beginning of time until this time, nor shall ever be and unless does days where shortened, no flesh shall be saved (Mat 24:21).
The 5th Seal: The cry of the martyrs
Scripture: When he opened the 5th seal, John sees the souls under the altar who have been slain for the word of God and their testimony. They are crying out for vengeance but are given white robes and told to wait until their fellow servants and brethren are killed as they were.
Insight: These are those who have died for their faith as persecution is intense. Saints will be dying all during the tribulation, so these martyrs are given white robes and told to wait until the number is complete before final judgment. In Revelation 7, before the 7th seal is opened, we see a large number of martyrs from the tribulation period joining these martyrs.
Reference: For the saints were given into his hand for a time, times and half a time (Dan 11,12). Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people for he will avenge the blood of his servants (Deu 32:43). You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent and give him no rest till he establishes and till he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth (Isa 62:6). Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you and you will be hated by all nations for my name (Mat 24:9). And they agreed with him and when they had called for the apostles and beaten them, they commanded them not to speak in this name (Acts 5:40).
The 6th seal: Signs in the heavens and earth
Scripture: When the 6th seal opens, John sees a great earthquake, the sun became black as sackcloth and the moon became like blood. John sees the stars falling, the sky receding and men crying out to the mountains and rocks to escape the wrath of him on the throne as well as the Lamb. They are acknowledging the great day of judgment has come and asking who is able to stand?
Insight: I see the effects of the 6th seal happening over the last 42 months of the tribulation and culminating in the return of the Lord described in Revelation 19. There will be tremendous natural disasters increasing in frequency and intensity leading up to the Lord’s return, similar to the birth pains of a pregnant woman. Reference: Immediately, after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens will be shaken (Mat 24:29). Brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore, bear fruits worthy of repentance (Mat 3:7). Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men (2 Cor 5:11). Do not fear those who only kill the body but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Mat 10:28). Ephesians 6:14 says we can only stand in the armor of God. Wait for his Son from heaven whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come (1 The 1:10).
Chapter 7 Review
Scripture: John sees 4 angles holding back the winds and ready to bring more judgment on the earth. However, they are not allowed to until the servants of God are sealed on their foreheads. We are told that 144,000 of the tribe of Israel are sealed and John provides the names of the tribes. Then, John sees a great multitude standing before the throne and is told by one of the elders that they came out of the great tribulation. These are before the throne and serve God day and night. They shall neither hunger or thirst anymore and neither shall the sun strike them. The Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to fountains of living waters and God will wipe away every tear.
The 144,000 and God’s Mark
Insight: I see the wind ceasing as a metaphor for the calm before the storm. I interpret the 144,000 as a representative for every tribe and nation or all believers on the earth. It is interesting that 24 is the total of 12 + 12, while 144,000 is a multiple of 12,000 x 12,000. I see the 24 elders representing the church in heaven and 144,000 representing the church on earth. Regarding the mark in the foreheads, I see this mark symbolizing all who are sealed by the Holy Spirit during this time. God has used this language before. In Ezekiel 9, the man in linen was told to go through the streets and seal believers before the judgment on Jerusalem. However, when God put a mark on Cain so no one would kill him, it appears it was visible. Now, when the 5th trumpet blows in Revelation 9, the pit will be opened and locust, which I believe are demons, ascend upon the earth. The text says they will torment all those not sealed by the Holy Spirit for 5 months. Just like today, saints will be dying all during the tribulation and joining those who are crying out under the altar back when the 5th seal was opened.
Reference: To the 6 men clothed with linen and battle ax in hand, go through the midst of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it (Eze 9:4). Therefore, whoever kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold and the Lord set a mark on Cain lest anyone finding him should kill him (Gen 4:15). He shall speak pompous words against the Most High and shall persecute the saints. He shall intend to change times and law, then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time, times and 1/2 a time (Dan 7:25).
Chapter 8 Review
Scripture: The 7th seal opens and there is silence in heaven about 1/2 an hour. The angel at the altar gathers our prayers in the sensor and they ascend before the throne as smoke from the angel’s hand. Next, the angel fills the sensor from the altar with fire then slams it into the earth and there is thunder, lightning and an earthquake. Finally, the 7 angels who had the 7 trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
Insight: I see this as the calm before more judgment, which gives people more time to repent. Our prayers on earth are a sweet smelling aroma in heaven. While on earth, we are praying for others to make it and strength for ourself to get through this life. Once we are in heaven, our prayers will be for God to avenge our enemies, reward the saints and take his reign. The sensor is probably symbolic of an asteroid or meteor slamming into the earth. With the opening of this 7th seal, we get the opening or unleashing of the 7 trumpet judgments. Our prayers and the judgments are both increasing in frequency and intensity. The Lord poured out the Holy Spirit beginning at Pentecost and now it’s time for the Lord to pour out his wrath.
Reference: Then he spoke to the man clothed with linen and said, go in among the wheels under the cherub and fill your hands with coals of fire from among the cherubim and scatter them over the city (Eze 10:2). For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death and to the other, the aroma of life leading to life (2 Cor 2:15).
The 7 trumpet judgments
Insight: I see the 7 trumpet judgments occurring over the last 3 1/2 years of Daniel’s 70th weeks prophecy. Humanity is already filling the effects of the 7 seals but now getting ready to experience even more horror. Remember, our Lord said there will be signs in the sun, moon, stars, distress of nations and men’s heart failing them from fear and the expectation of those things coming on the earth for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
1st trumpet: Vegetation struck
Scripture: The 1st trumpet brings a judgment against all vegetation by destroying 1/3 by hail, fire and blood. Insight: I see this as the result of man’s war and God’s direct intervention. References: Take the razor against your head and beard to remove your hair. 1/3 of your hair shall represent judgment of siege, 1/3 when the city is taken and 1/3 will represent me hunting them down (Eze 5:2).
2nd trumpet: The sea struck
Scripture: The 2nd trumpet sounds and something like a great mountain falls on 1/3 of the sea. Insight: This appears to be an enormous asteroid or meteor landing in the ocean bringing great destruction to the world navies and marine life. You can imagine the cost of seafood and other goods because the marine industry will be suffering. The earth is hit quite often by asteroids and meteors but nothing of this size. I have been tracking the asteroid called Apophis, which they say is about a quarter of a mile. NASA believes it will come within 19,000 feet from the earth in April of 2029.
3rd trumpet: The rivers and springs struck
Scripture: The 3rd trumpet brings a great star called wormwood, it falls on the rivers and many people die. Insight: The star appears to be a comet hitting the world and effecting the fresh water supply, probably with some new strain of bacteria or pericyte. People continue to drink from fresh water sources and many are poisoned.
4th trumpet: The heavens struck
Scripture: The 4th trumpet sounds and 1/3 of the sun, moon and stars are struck, so that 1/3 part of the day and night are lost. Insight: I would expect the rotation of the earth to be significantly impacted after she sustains massage earth quakes, nuclear explosions and is hit by huge asteroids, meteors and comets. Reference: Unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved, but for the elect sake those days will be shortened (Mat 24:22).
Chapter 9 Review
5th trumpet: Locust from the bottomless pit
Scripture: The 5th trumpet sounds and John sees a star fall from heaven and to him was given the key to the bottomless pit. The star opens the pit and locusts are released upon earth to torment men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. They are not allowed to kill them but to torment men for 5 months. In those days men will seek death and not find it, they will desire to die and death will flee from them. We are given detailed descriptions of the locust and their ability to inflict pain on a person. John says the locust have a king over them whose name is Abaddon in Hebrew and Apollyon in Greek.
Insight: We see the key is given to the star and we know our Lord says he has the keys to Death and Hades. At this point, those who do not have the Holy Spirit’s seal are direct targets for these guys. Having experienced intense pain for about a week after taking God’s precious anointing into a filthy casino, I see the locust delivering tremendous attacks upon people minds and bodies. People will experience pain at a level where they are trying to kill themselves but God will not allow this during this period. I see the 5 months just representing a short period of time or it could be a literal 5 months.
Insight: I believe these beings will be claiming they are aliens from a distant planet, have been living among us from the beginning and have esoteric knowledge, which has been hidden since time begin. They will probably have the secrets to the Bermuda Triangle, who built the Great Pyramids, where the Ark of the Covenant or Spear of Destiny is located and ultimately, claiming they know the way to obtain eternal life. Since the pit will be opened, everything is coming out, this includes the giants or Nephilim who once walked the earth (Gen 6:1). I saw some of these beings when I went down to hell in April 2017. I believe the Angel or King over them is none other than Satan. Also, once Satan releases them, he will cement his leadership over them. Reference: And do not marvel, Satan transforms himself into an angel of light (2 Cor 11:14).
6th trumpet: Release the 4 angels bound
Scripture: When the 6th trumpet sounds, John hears a voice saying release the 4 angels who are bound at the river Euphrates. These angels are released to kill 1/3 of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was 200 million. John gives us a description of the horsemen and the plagues they release. He says by these plagues 1/3 of mankind was killed. But the rest of mankind who where not killed by these plagues did not repent.
Insight: The 5 month torment period is over and now many men die. These 4 angels appear to be extremely powerful fallen beings who were not allowed to roam the earth. God’s good angels are never bound. I see the 200 million horseman army as the same locust army just released at the 5th trumpet. It appears the 200 million locust army was bound in a different location from these beings. I see Satan and the 4 angles leading this demonic army. Now at this point, most of the world is on the Mark of the Beast, so repentance is scarce. Therefore, people continue to hate each other, abuse drugs, practice sexual immorality and exploit one another.
Reference: For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Eph 6:12). For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down reserved for judgment (2 Pet 2:4). The angels who chose to leave their first home, he has reserved in everlasting chains for the judgment of the great day (Jude 1:6).
Chapter 10 Review
Scripture: John sees a strong angel coming down to proclaim time is up with a little book in his hand. John hears 7 thunders speak but is directed not to write this down. The angel is clothed with a cloud and a rainbow on his head. His face is like the sun and feet like a pillar of fire. John is directed to take the little book and eat it. John is told it will be sweet as honey in his mouth but bitter in his stomach and after eating it, this is exactly what he experiences. Finally, John is told you must prophesy again to many peoples, nations, tongues and kings.
Insight: We see the attributes of the angel similar to the Lord’s in Revelation 1. The angel steps one foot on land and one on sea, which indicates the enormous size of this being and proclaims judgment over the entire earth. I do not believe this angel is Jesus but definitely is a high ranking angelic being. If this is the Lord, there is no mention of the Lamb and John does not worship this being. I see eating the book as a metaphor of fully digesting the word of God. Also, the message of salvation leaves a sweet taste in our mouth but the message of damnation leaves a bitter feeling in our stomach. Even in the midst of the tribulation, we must continue to try and reach the lost.
Reference: Son of man, eat this scroll that is set before you. So I ate it and it was sweet as honey in my mouth (Eze 3:1). O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from me unless I drink it, your will be done (Mat 26:42). Therefore go into the highways and as many as you find, invite to the wedding (Mat 22:9). The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few, therefore pray the Lord to send out laborers (Mat 9:37).
Chapter 11 Review
Scripture: John is given a reed to measure the temple but told to leave out the outer court because it has been given to the Gentiles. John is told the Gentiles will tread this temple underfoot for 42 months and God will give his 2 witnesses the ability to prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth. The 2 witnesses are also referred to as 2 olive trees that stand before God, as well as 2 prophets. The beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit kills them and their dead bodies lay in the streets of Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord was crucified for 3 1/2 days. After the 3 1/2 days, they ascend to heaven, a great earthquake occurs, 7,000 are killed and the rest give glory to God.
The temple and the 2 witnesses
Insight: I believe this is a prophecy indicating a 3rd temple will be built. For more insight on the temples of God, please click this link, The Temples of God. However, we know the presence of God will not rest there because the Old Covenant animal sacrificial system is no longer valid. I believe the treading under foot for 42 months is the 3 1/2 year period which the Beast from the Bottomless Pit empowers the Man of Sin, also known as the Son or Perdition or Antichrist, to sit himself up in this temple and proclaim he is God. Please see the above End times chart for the references related to the 2nd half of Daniel’s 70th week or 3 1/2 year period. Again, I see the 42 months, 1,260 day or times, time and 1/2 time all referencing the same period.
Insight: The identity of the 2 witnesses is definitely up for debate. Some interpret the 2 witnesses as symbols for the Law and Prophets. However, if we accept this interpretation, then we are left with the difficult task of fitting the following information into that interpretation. Both are clothed with sackcloth and ashes, have the power to strike the earth with as many plagues as they desire, they kill people with fire coming out of their mouths, after their ministry the beast kills them, they lay in the streets of Jerusalem for 3 1/2 days and the whole world sees their dead bodies, finally they are raptured to glory.
Insight: When Zechariah had his vision of the 2 olive trees he is told they are the 2 anointed ones, so I see them as 2 people. Now, we are told in Malachi that Elijah the prophet is coming before the dreadful day of the Lord. John the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah and when asked, John said he was not Elijah. Also, we know the Lord’s 1st coming was not the dreadful day of the Lord but the wonderful sacrifice of the Lamb. I believe the 2 witnesses will be Moses and Elijah because both performed similar Old Testament miracles. We also remember at the transfiguration, that Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus and talked about the Kingdom of God. Now, some see one of the witnesses as Enoch, who walked with God and was taken.
Insight: After their 3 1/2 year ministry, the beast kills them and their dead bodies lie in the streets of Sodom and Egypt, which we know is a reference to Jerusalem. To reference Jerusalem as Sodom and Egypt pretty much says God sees the City quite reprehensible. The statement that says the whole world looks upon their dead bodies was hard to understand until this modern age of technology, but now easy to interpret. Now, after their intense preaching, killing of those trying to stop them, unleashing of tremendous judgments and this earthquake destroying 7,000, some repentance comes to the City. The 7,000 killed probably just means a large number and repentance at this late hour is encouraging because some living have refused the Mark of the Beast.
References: Now there was a wall around the outside of the temple. In the man’s hand was a measuring rod 6 cubits long being a cubit and a handbreadth. He measured the width of the wall structure, one rod and the height of one rod (Eze 40:5). Then I raised my eyes and looked and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand. So I said, where are you going? He said to me, to measure Jerusalem to see that is its width and what is its length (Zec 2:1). Two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at its left (Zec 4:3). So he said, these are the 2 anointed ones who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth (Zec 4:14). It is interesting at the transfiguration, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with the Lord (Mat 17:3). Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord (Mal 4:5).
7th trumpet: Christ takes the world’s kingdoms
Scripture: The 7th trumpet sounds and the kingdoms of this world becomes the kingdoms of Christ. The 24 elders are praising God, the one who is, who was and who is to come because you have taken your great power. They declare now is the time for your wrath to come, to judge the dead and reward your servants the prophets and those who fear your name both small and great. The temple of God was opened in heaven and the ark of his covenant was seen and there was lightnings, noises, thundering, an earthquake and great hail.
Insight: This is the time when our Lord takes control of the kingdoms of the world. Remember, Satan offered this to the Lord in exchange for worship. I see the church in heaven which has been waiting since the 5th seal for God to judge and avenge their blood as well as reward the saints. This is extremely close to the time when the saints bodies come to life to reign with Christ or the rapture. The Bible says the rest of the dead did not come back to life until the 1,000 are over, this is the 1st resurrection. When God opens his temple and displays his ark, we will get a clear picture of what it costs the Godhead to redeem our souls. Also, the ark contains God’s perpetual promise where he declared our Lord Jesus is a High Priest forever. I see the rewarding of the saints the same as the inheritance given to the 12 tribes in Ezekiel 47.
Reference: And the devil said to him, all this authority I will give you and their glory, for this has been delivered to me and I give it to whomever I wish (Luke 4:6). And he will send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet and they will gather together his elect from the four corners of the earth (Mat 24:31). For the Lord himself will descend with the voice of the Archangel and trumpet of God (1 The 4:16). The Lord has sworn and will not relent, you are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek (Heb 7:17). Thus says the Lord God, these are the borders by which you shall divide the land as an inheritance among the 12 tribes of Israel (Eze 47:13).
Chapter 12 Review
Scripture: John sees a great sign, there is a woman clothed with the moon, the sun under her feet and 12 stars on her head, being with child. Then she cried out in labor and pain to give birth. John sees another great sign of a great Dragon having 7 heads, 10 horns and 7 diadems on his heads. The Dragon’s tail drew a 1/3 of the stars to earth and stood before the woman to devour her Child. After delivering the Child, the woman fled into the wilderness where she has a place by God, that they should feed her for 1,260 days.
Scripture: Next, John sees war in heaven, Michael and his angels fight against the Dragon and his angels. We are told Michael and his angels prevail and there was no longer a place for the Dragon and his angels in heaven any longer. We are told the great Dragon is that Serpent of Old, called the Devil and Satan who deceives the whole world. We are told he was cast out and his angels were cast out with him. Now salvation and strength, the kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ have come. We are told the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night has been cast down. They overcome him by the blood of lamb, the word of their testimony and did not love their lives to the death.
Scripture: Now when the Dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman but she was given 2 wings of a great eagle to fly into her place, where she is protected for a time, times and 1/2 a time. So the Serpent spewed water after the woman and the earth opened its mouth to help her. The Dragon was enraged with the woman and went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandment of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Insight: I see the woman symbolizing the Jewish nation bringing forth the Messiah. Yes, Mary was definitely highly favored to bring the Lord into the world, but the picture of the woman here is much to majestic for Mary. Also, we know Mary is not to be worshipped. I believe Joseph’s dream in Genesis, interpreted by his father Jacob, confirms the identity of the woman as the nation Israel. Now, at our Lord 1st coming, he did not rule all nations with a rod of iron but rather gave his life for all nations. Therefore, the Child is none other than our Lord Jesus. The women being in pain represents the persecution the Jews have faced throughout time. I can also see this as the struggle between God and Satan and Satan’s attempts to stop God from bringing the Messiah into the world. In Genesis, God has promised enmity between the woman’s seed and serpent.
Insight: We do not have to guess who the Dragon or the fallen stars are. We are told the Dragon symbolizes the Serpent of Old or Satan himself. We are told the 1/3 stars represent Satan’s fallen angels. After this battle, Satan and his fallen angels loose access to heaven as well as the ability to accuse believers before the throne. Remember in Job, he came to present himself with the sons of God to accuse Job. I see the persecution of the women and her being protected for 1,260 days or a time, times and 1/2 a time as the last 3 1/2 years of the Daniel 70th week prophecy or Jacob’s trouble. During this time, I believe God will remove the blindness from the Jews and many will recognize Jesus as the Messiah. No doubt after Satan is kicked out of heaven, heavy persecution of the Jewish nation will happen because he knows his time is short. The earth opening up and wings of an eagle aiding the woman could symbolize an earthquake or some nation coming to Israel’s aid or both. The persecution of her offspring represents Satan and the Antichrist persecuting the saints for a time, times and 1/2 a time.
References: Then he dreamed still another dream and told his brothers and said, look I have dreamed another dream and this time, the sun, the moon and the 11 stars bowed down to me (Gen37:9). And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed. He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel (Gen 3:15). Herod ordered the male kids from 2 years and under be killed trying to destroy baby Jesus (Mat 2:16). At that time Michael will stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people and there shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book (Dan 12:1). He shall persecute the saints and intend to change times and laws, then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time, times and 1/2 a time (Dan 7:25).
Chapter 13 Review
Scripture: Johns sees a beast rising from the sea having 7 heads, 10 horns and 10 crowns on his heads. The beast has the attributes of a leopard, bear and lion. One of the heads appeared to be mortally wounded. The dragon is worshipped and gives authority to this beast. This beast is allowed to continue for 42 months. This beast makes war with the saints and is allowed to overcome them. We are told to be patient, he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword.
Scripture: John sees another beast rising from the earth with 2 horns like a lamb but speaks as a dragon. This 2nd beast is allowed to perform signs while in the presence of the 1st beast. He makes fire come down from heaven in the sight of men and leads the earth into making an image of the 1st beast whose head was wounded by the sword and lived. He was given power to give breath to the image of the beast and encourages worldwide worship of the 1st beast. The 2nd beast causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave to receive a mark on their right hand or forehead. Anyone who does not receive the mark cannot buy or sell. We are told to calculate the number of the beast for it is the number of a man and his number is 666.
The Unholy Trinity and their Mark
Insight: Revelation 16:13 gives us the identity of the Unholy Trinity in one verse. And I saw 3 unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the Dragon, the beast and false prophet. We know Satan is the Dragon and my position is the beast is the Antichrist or the Revelation 13 1st beast. My position is the false prophet is the 2nd beast in Revelation 13. We are told their demise in Revelation 19:20, then the beast was captured and with him the false prophet, these 2 were cast alive into the lake of fire. At that time, Satan is locked into the bottomless pit to prevent further deception of the nations, but joins these 2 in the lake of fire after the 1,000 year reign. From these passages we see that Satan is not the beast and the beast is not the false prophet. In other words, these are 3 separate beings.
The 1st Beast from the sea
Insight: I see this 1st beast as the final or culmination of mankind’s rule. Please see my chart entitled Mankind/Satan’s Kingdoms. In my 11/10/2018 dream, it was revealed that the Antichrist was rising soon and the Catholic church would propel him to power. Again, I am not saying there are no born again Catholics, but the Catholic church doctrine is definitely corrupt. I give insight on the 7 heads and 10 horns at this link. Mystery Babylon and the Beast carrying her. The death stroke that is healed could refer to a literal resurrection of this world leader. I can see Satan trying to duplicate the Lord’s resurrection. The overcoming of the saints refers to our physical bodies because this beast cannot conquer our eternal souls. During this time, we are told not to take up our physical swords, so it is time to flee or become a martyr.
The 2nd Beast from the earth
Insight: The 2nd beast, the created image and mark of the beast was not revealed to Daniel but to John. The Spirit of God only reveals information at the appointed time. I see the 2nd beast with horns like a lamb and speaking as a dragon as a powerful religious leader. Again, in my 11/10/2018 dream, it was revealed to me that the Catholic church is going to propel him to power. Therefore, if my dream is correct, I see the Pope as this false prophet. This false prophet will be able to do miracles that were reserved for true prophets, remember Elijah calling down fire on several occasions. Regarding the image, it is easy to see this as some form of Artificial Intelligence (AI) or demonic being inhabiting some form of technology. Since the beginning of time, mankind has always searched for someway to make himself immortal. We see from Daniel 3 that King Nebuchadnezzar setup an image and required everyone to bow down and worship it or be put to death. Satan’s greatest desire as well as the beast who ascends from the pit is to be worshipped.
The Mark of the Beast
Insight: It is difficult to interpret this passage if the mark is symbolic or a metaphor. It is easy to see the sealing or marking of the saints in Revelation 7 as symbolic. I interpret this as a physical device or something on your body that without it, your financial transaction will not go through. I believe it will be some type of biometric identification required before your transaction will process. A type of technology that interacts with our DNA to prove you are you. Given society will be digital after the removal of physical cash, a higher level of encryption will be needed to secure our transactions. I see the initial phasing in of the mark as voluntary, but eventually mandatory. Also, those who believe they are saved by faith or just believing the Bible will have a hard time refusing this. Because at this point, it will be obvious that our actions play a part in our salvation. It is interesting that the image created by Nebuchadnezzar was multiples of 6. The image had a height of 60 cubits and width of 6 cubits. We also know that God created man on the 6th day. If the Lamb having 7 Horns, 7 Eyes with 7 Spirits represents the fullness of God’s Kingdom, then 666 represents the fullness of Satan’s Kingdom.
Reference: For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders, that if possible, the very elect will be deceived (Mat 24:24). For this reason God will send them a strong delusion that they might believe the lie (2 The 2). Beloved, do not believe every spirit, because many false prophets have gone out into the world (1 John 4:1). The day of the Lord will not come until the falling away comes first, then the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition (2 The 2:3). When you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in holy place (Mat 24:15). And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold but he who endures to the end, the same will be saved (Mat 24:12). But Peter and the other apostles answered and said, we ought to obey God rather than men (Acts 5:29).
Chapter 14 Review
Scripture: John sees the 144,000 standing on Mount Zion with the Lamb singing a song of redemption. They are virgins and among the first fruits of the Lamb. We see the 1st angel flying in the midst of heaven proclaiming the gospel, fear God and give him glory for the hour of his judgment has come. Next, another angel is proclaiming fallen, fallen, fallen is Babylon the great that corrupted all nations. We see a 3rd angel proclaiming if anyone receives the mark of the beast on his forehead or hand, that person will be made to drink of the wine of the wrath of God. That person shall be tormented forever and ever. John says that person shall receive no rest, day or night. This calls for the patience of the saints. John sees one like the Son of Man sitting on a cloud with a crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. Then we see an angel coming out of the temple and crying out for this one to thrust in his sickle for the harvest of the earth is ripe. The winepress was trodden outside the city and blood came up to the horses bridles for 1,600 furlongs.
Insight: These were killed by the beast because he had power to overcome the saints. This is another reason I believe the 144,000 includes Jew and Gentile saints on earth. Now, there might be more Jewish believers among this number because there was revival in Jerusalem after the 2 witnesses completed their ministry. I see the Jews as first fruit and the Gentiles as later fruit. I see the message preached by the angels in heaven being preached by the 2 witnesses or prophets as well as all believers on earth. The Lord is giving more time because there will still be people on earth who have not received the mark of the beast. We see the influence of Babylon is worldwide. Chapter 17 and 18 provides more detail on Mystery Babylon.
Insight: I believe the text is clear that if you receive the mark of the beast, you will also drink of the eternal wrath of God. Now, once the mark is introduced to our world, rejecting it will definitely test our resolve to live for the Lord. Remember, our Lord said to those who persevere, he will keep us from the test, which I understand to mean, from failing the test. We see a metaphor where the Lord swings a huge sickle over the earth to harvest the good fruit and dispose of the bad. Remember, when our Lord was on earth, they gave him a crown of thrones, now he as a crown of authority. This particular judgment appears to reference an area outside of Jerusalem, however judgment at this time has a worldwide impact. There is massive blood flow up to the horse’s bridle for 1,600 furlongs, which is approximately 184 miles. Just think about the amount of blood it would take to fill a river up to the horse’s bridle over this distance.
Reference: His winnowing fan is in his hand and he will thoroughly clean out his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn, but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire (Mat 3:12). For as the lightning comes from east to west, also will the coming of Son of Man be. Wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered (Mat 24:27). Put in the sickle for the harvest is ripe. Come go down for the winepress is full, the vats overflow for their wickedness is great (Joel 3:13). Why is your apparel red and your garments like one who treads in the winepress? I have trodden the winepress alone and from the peoples no one was with me. For I have trodden them in my anger and trampled them in my fury. Their blood is sprinkled upon my garments and I have stained all my robes (Isa 63:2).
Chapter 15 Review
Scripture: John sees something like a sea of glass mingled with fire and those who came out of the great tribulation are standing on the sea of glass praising the Lord. They are singing the song of Moses and song of the Lamb. Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are your ways O King of the saints! The temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven is opened and out of the temple comes 7 angles clothed in pure white linen with their breast covered with golden girdles. One of the 4 living creatures gives the 7 angles 7 bowls that completes God’s wrath. No one can enter the temple until the bowl judgments are finished.
The 7 bowl judgments
Insight: Remember, back when the 5th seal was opened we saw the martyrs standing on the sea of glass and crying out for judgment. Now, that same sea has been mingled with fire, so it’s time to be poured out on the earth. Once in heaven, we will sing the Lord’s praises and testify of his mighty works. The Father as sworn that our Lord’s blood will intercede for us forever. The bowls were being kept by the living creatures and now must be given to the angels to execute. No one is allowed to enter the temple could mean God is not responding to cries for repentance at this time. The entire scene looks like an orderly judgment which must occur. Reference: The Son of Man will send out his angels and they will gather out of his kingdom all things that offend and those who practice lawlessness. They will cast them into the furnace of fire where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear (Mat 13:41).
Chapter 16 Review
1st bowl: Sores from the Mark of the Beast
Scripture: The 1st bowl is poured out and a noisome, grievous sore appears upon those who have received the mark of the beast. Insight: Somehow the body is rejecting the mark of the beast technology. This is another reason I believe the mark will be physical rather than symbolic. Also, it appears the mark has been functioning perfectly well until this bowl is poured out. Even though people are getting away with disobedience for a while, now it’s time to pay for it. Reference: Some men sins go before them and some come later (1 Tim 5:24).
2nd bowl: Sea turns to blood
Scripture: The 2nd bowl is released in the sea, it became blood and everything in it died. Insight: The 2nd trumpet destroyed the sea by 1/3 and now this bowl finishes it off.
3rd bowl: Waters turn to blood
Scripture: The 3rd bowl is released in the rivers and they become blood. The angels are praising God for delivering these judgments because those on the earth have shed the blood of the saints and prophets. Insight: The 3rd trumpet destroyed the rivers by 1/3 and now this bowl finishes it off.
4th bowl: Men are burned by the sun
Scripture: The 4th bowl is released against the sun and men are scorched with great heat. They blaspheme God but refuse to repent. Insight: The 4th trumpet struck the sun, moon and stars reducing their effectiveness by 1/3. Now, this bowl removes all protection from the earth and the sun’s force is unleased against men. Therefore, by this time the ozone layer provides no protection from the sun. Probably a combination of man screwing up the environment through technology, nuclear war and God’s direct intervention. Those who have received the mark cannot repent and at this juncture, I am unsure if anyone else can.
5th bowl: Darkness and pain
Scripture: The 5th bowl is poured out on the throne of the beast plunging his kingdom into darkness and they gnawed their tongues, blasphemed God and did not repent. Insight: Remember the 3 days of darkness sent to Egypt during Moses time. The 5th trumpet gave Satan authority to open the bottomless pit and let the locust out, but now it’s time for God to directly judge those actions. Satan and the beast influence is worldwide but he will have a headquarters somewhere in the Middle East, which I suspect will be Jerusalem. Remember, he sits himself up in the temple proclaiming he is God. At this point, mankind gets no sun or moon light, just darkness and pain from the effects of the sores due to receiving the mark. Reference: He sets himself up in the temple of God proclaiming that he is God (2 The 2:4).
6th bowl: Euphrates dried up
Scripture: The 6th bowl is poured out on the great river Euphrates and its water is dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the east. John sees 3 unclean spirits come out of the mouth of the Dragon, Beast and False Prophet. We are told these 3 spirits are gathering the kings together in a place called Armageddon. Our Lord says behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments lest he walk naked and they see his shame.
Insight: When the 6th trumpet is sounded, we see 4 angles released from around the river Euphrates. Again, I believe these angels are leading the 200 million locust army. This unholy trio is designed to function in place of the Holy Trinity. This is not surprising because Satan’s goal is to be worshipped as God, remember he said I will be like the most high. When we look east of Jerusalem, we get the nations of China, Japan and Korea, so I see these nations representing the kings of the East. Scholars say Armageddon is the Valley of Megiddo, which is located in the Middle East. From Genesis, we see the river Euphrates is located near the Garden of Eden. Therefore, it sounds reasonable that if life begin there, it will end there. I read a few articles which said the Euphrates river has begin to dry up. Remember, our Lord told the Church of Laodicea to come and buy white garments from him so the shame of their nakedness is not revealed. Also, our Lord told the Church of Philadelphia and Paul told the Church at Thessalonica to hold fast and watch so you are not caught off guard.
Reference: Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden and from there parted and became 4 riverheads. The name of the 1st is Pishon, the 2nd is Gihon, the 3rd is Hiddekel and 4th is Euphrates (Gen 2:10). Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore, you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect (Mat 24:42). Brothers, you are not in darkness that this day should overtake you as a thief (1 The 5:4).
7th bowl: The earth is shaken
Scripture: The 7th bowl is poured out into the air and John hears a loud voice from the temple saying it is done! There is great judgment by a mighty earthquake like never before. The great city was divided into 3 parts, the cities of the nations fell and great Babylon was remembered before God. Then every island fled away, the mountains were not found and great hail from heaven fell on men. Men blasphemed God because of the plague.
Insight: At the 7th trumpet, the temple of God was opened in heaven and we also saw lightnings, noises, thundering, an earthquake and great hail. Now, at the 7th bowl we see these same type of judgments but in much greater force. Also, this could be the earthquake mentioned in Zechariah 14 when the Lord returns and touches his feet on the mountain of olives. At this point, the 7 seals, 7 trumpets and 7 bowls are complete. The great city and cities of the nations appear to refer to the entire earth because language such as every island fled away and the mountains were not found sounds global.
Chapter 17 Review
Scripture: In this chapter, one of the 7 angels carries John into the wilderness and shows him Mystery Babylon and the Beast with 7 heads and 10 horns carrying her. The woman sits on 7 mountains, which are also 7 heads, which are also 7 kings. We are told that 5 have fallen, 1 is and the other has not come yet and when he does, it is only for a short time. We are told the beast is himself the 8th and of the 7 and is going to perdition. We are told the waters where she is sitting are multitudes of people from nations and various tongues.
Scripture: The 10 horns are 10 kings who have not received a kingdom yet, but receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These will give their power to the beast and make war with the Lamb. The Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings. We are told the 10 horns will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For God has put into their hearts to fulfill his purpose until the words of God are fulfilled.
Mystery Babylon and the Beast carrying her
Insight: I like to think of Eve representing the mother of all living, while Mystery Babylon represents the mother of all death. I see the woman, Mystery Babylon as having all this fallen world can offer, that is perverted sex, power, knowledge, money, religion, constant entertainment or essentially all the kingdoms Satan offered Jesus. You will notice in Revelation 18, when Babylon is destroyed, the people of the world will be mourning her because their treasure is in her or this life, rather than the next. The woman is drunk with the blood of the saints. This means she is having a party at the saints expense but the party is about over!
Insight: My friends, when we are living in disobedience, we are living in a state of euphoria or drunkenness and under the deception of this fallen world. However, no matter how long we hangout partying in this world, because sin is fun for a season, the party will be over soon. Remember, our Lord has come to set us free from the power of Satan and Mystery Babylon, while she tempts us through the lust of the flesh to live for this fallen world. Therefore, Mystery Babylon is this perverted fallen world being ruled by Satan, which we are apart of if we are living in the flesh. This is why our Lord says come out of her, that is this fallen world, my people. My friends, we cannot be cruising along in Babylon because whoever is in her, will get swept away when God judges her.
Reference: For all that is in the world is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and pride of life (1 John 2:16). For the mystery of iniquity is already at work in the sons of disobedience (2 The 2:7). We are of God but we know the whole world lies under the power of the wicked one. (1 John 5:19). Do you not know that to whoever you present yourself to then that is who you belong to, whether to obedience leading to life or disobedience leading to death (Rom 6:16). What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul (Mark 8:36).
The 7 Heads of the Beast
Insight: This beast carrying the woman is the same beast of Revelation 11 and 13, who ascends out of the bottomless pit and gets his power from the Dragon or Satan. I see the first 6 heads as the empires of Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medes – Persia, Greek and the one during John’s writing was Rome. The 7th head was not reigning at that time and John says he only gets a short time. I believe this refers to the 42 month period granted to the beast of Revelation 13. Also, remember John and Jesus said the Antichrist or ruler of this world is coming. Paul also says the coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan. These verses are hard to interpret if they were referring to an existing world power or Satan himself. I see the 8th head as an extremely powerful fallen angel or Satan’s highest ranking demon, which will ascend from the bottomless pit. I see the 8th head being of the 7 as the beast from the abyss possessing a human being and there will probably be strong AI in play.
The 10 Horns on the Beast
Insight: John tells us the 10 horns are 10 kings which have not received a kingdom yet, but receive authority for one hour with the beast. I interpret this one hour as a short period of time and symbolic of the 42 month period of the Revelation 13 beast reign. We know this is not a literal 60 minute period. God will use the 10 kings to destroy this perverted world, Mystery Babylon, while giving their power to the beast. However, we see from Daniel 8 that the little horn, which I believe is the Revelation 13 beast, will subdue 3 kings upon his ascent. So, there will be a power struggle when the beast rises. I have no clue who the 10 kings are but believe they could be powerful political leaders, financial giants, celebrities or members of secret societies. I see God using the 10 kings to attack the woman because God will destroy Satan’s perverted world kingdoms in the end.
Chapter 18 Review
Scripture: John provided insight into Mystery Babylon the last chapter and now we see her demise. We are told she is boasting and her ways have corrupted the earth, yet men are still longing for what she is offering and crying out, alas when she is destroyed. We are told all the parties, weddings and light have gone out of her. We hear a cry to come out of her my people, so you will not receive of her plagues. We are told that in one hour such riches has come to nothing. Double unto her even as she as rendered to you. In her was found all the blood of the prophets and saints, who were slain on the earth.
Insight: This is the judgment asked for by the saints when the 5th seal was opened. It appears the cry to come out of her means some might still be redeemable. When the Lord tells us to double onto her what she has given us, he is saying we must hate our sin. Satan’s final beast empire is in full force, the 200 million demons released from the pit are roaming the earth and mankind is at the height of his sexual immorality, materialism and overt Satanic worship. I believe the judgment of her in one hour is referring to a short period of time. I have this occurring during the 7 bowl judgments or a 75 day period. The statement which says all the blood slain on the earth was found in her confirms that Mystery Babylon goes back to the first blood slain, which was Abel’s in the Garden of Eden.
Reference: Pound your fists and stamp your feet and say alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel (Eze 6:11). Here is a lead disc lifted up and this is a woman sitting inside the basket. Then he said, this is wickedness and he thrust her down into the basket and threw the lead cover over its mouth. So I said to the angel who talked with me, where are they carrying the basket? To build a house for it in the land of Shinar, when it is ready, the basket will be set there on its base. (Zec 5:11). Up, Zion, escape you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon (Zec 2:7). Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord, touch not the unclean and I will receive you (2 Cor 6:17). If your right eye offend you pluck it out or hate sin (Mat 5:28). For we brought nothing into this world and it is certain we can carry nothing out (1 Tim 6:7).
Chapter 19 Review
Scripture: After judgment of the Great Harlot, Mystery Babylon, alleluia praise goes up from the 4 living creatures, 24 elders and a great multitude. Again they said alleluia, her smoke rises up forever and ever! We see the wife of the Lamb has prepared herself for the wedding and it was granted to her to be arrayed in fine linen, which are the righteous acts of the saints. John gets caught up in aw and worships the angel, who quickly corrects him. The rider on the white horse rob is dipped in blood and he is called Faithful and True, the Word of God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. An angel gives a cry to all the birds gathering them to the great supper. We see the armies of the earth, the beast and false prophet opposing the rider and his armies from heaven. The beast and false prophet are banished to the lake of fire and all the birds eat the flesh of the armies.

Insight: I see this as the battle of Armageddon as well as the Ezekiel 38 Gog and Magog war. Revelation 20 says Gog and Magog span the 4 corners of the earth. This war is referenced when the 6th bowl was poured out. At this point, mankind is so deceived they probably think aliens are coming to take over the earth. Satan and the demonic realm probably know who this is because the demons always knew and begged the Lord not to send them to the abyss before the time. This rider on the white horse is none other than our Lord, which is different from the rider on the white horse, released when the 1st seal opens. At the Lord’s 1st coming, his blood stained his cross but now his enemies blood will stain his garment. Like I have said before, whether angel, demon, Nephilim or man, when the Lord returns whoever is against him, it is not going to go well for them!
Insight: My position is this battle commences when the deceived world sees what they believe to be alien aircraft invading earth. As the Lord approaches earth, his star will get brighter and brighter until it blinds everything. Remember, he is the Bright and Morning Star who will destroy Satan with the brightness of his coming. The souls coming with Christ will be joined with their bodies, which are ascending from the graves. Next, the saints still living will be instantly changed and our Lord with us, his Bride begin our 1,000 year wedding celebration! Now, notice the beast and false prophet are sent to the lake of fire for deceiving people to receive the mark and leading people into worship of the image. I do not believe the armies of the beast includes every human being because there will be procreation during the 1,000 year reign. The Lord told me in a dream that whoever gets into the lake of fire, they cannot get out.
Reference: Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion for behold I am coming and I will dwell in your midst says the Lord. Many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day and they shall become my people and I will dwell in your midst, then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you (Zec 2:10). Behold, I am coming quickly and my reward is with me, to give everyone according to his works (Rev 22:12). These will go off into eternal joy and those into eternal sorrow (Mathew 25). Some will rise to eternal joy and others to eternal sorrow and contempt (Dan 12). Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth mourn (Mat 24:30). Whom the Lord will consume with the breath of his mouth and the brightness of his coming (2 The 2:7). And as for you son of man, thus says the Lord, speak to every sort of bird and every beast of the field to assemble yourselves and come together from all sides to my sacrificial meal (Eze 39:17).
Chapter 20 Review
Scripture: After Armageddon, Satan is bound for 1,000 years to prevent deception of the nations during that time. John sees the souls who did not come back to life and the souls who came back to life to reign for 1,000 years. We are told this is the 1st resurrection. After the 1,000 years, Satan is released and gathers the nations, Gog and Magog, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They come up against the saints, fire comes down to destroy them and Satan is sent to the lake of fire, to join the beast and false prophet. Next, John sees a great white throne and him who sat on it has a face, which causes the earth to flee. Before him, all the dead from the sea and Hades are resurrected and the books are opened, including the Book of Life. Everyone is judged according to their works. Next, Death and Hades were cast into the last of fire, this is the 2nd death. John tells us that anyone not found in the Book Life was cast into the lake of fire.
The 1,000 year reign and Satan’s final rebellion
Insight: Satan is locked away so he cannot deceive the nations again until the 1,000 years are over. Again, if you are Amillennial, I see this as a difficult passage to interpret, because Satan is definitely deceiving the nations. In fact, his greatest deception, under the beast system, is yet to come. When the Lord said there is an hour coming when all those in the graves will hear his voice and some will come forth to life and others to death, many believe this is the same hour. However, the revelation John receives tells us that the hour for the 1st and 2nd resurrection are different. Everyone has an hour to give account, but everyone’s hour is not at the same time.
Insight: I believe Zechariah 14 gives us some insight into Millennial life. It shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. He lets us know that any nation which refuses to go up and worship the Lord, shall not receive rain. This means that some form of annual worship of the true God will be mandatory. Remember, the Old Testament saints were required to go up annually for some festivals. Also, I see Millennial life different from life in the new creation. I see Millennial life similar to life in the Garden of Eden, it was a paradise but still contained the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Also, before the flood, man lived to be over 900 years old. There is hints of this longevity returning because Isaiah says a child shall die at 100 years old. Now we know there will be no more death at some point, so the verse in Isaiah is probably referring to life during the Millennial period. Again, Satan will not be able to deceive the nations but that does not mean a high ranking demon has not filled the vacuum.
Insight: Now, we are not told how long it takes Satan to rally the troops in one final rebellion. Given my understanding of the Lord, it might take some years for this final assault because mankind still has free will. However, we see a large number of people being deceived and Satan’s final resting place. Also, much of the world will be under heavy deception by thinking aliens have taken over the world, setup shop in Jerusalem and controlling the weather. Ultimately, anyone whose name is not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life is cast into the lake of fire. My friends, regardless how many rewards we receive, at the end of the day, we only want to ensure our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
The great white throne judgment
Insight: The 1st resurrection before the 1,000 year reign was for the saints and I assume we have received our rewards. Again, our greatest reward is to have our names written in the Lamb’s book of life. Any crowns we receive are cast before the Lamb’s feet. This great white throne judgment is for those not apart of the 1st resurrection and called the resurrection of the dead. All the books are opened, along with the Book of Life. I remember the 1st time the Lord took me down to hell and showed me names on the walls. He did not let me read them but I understood they were human names. My friends, if our names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, they are written on the walls of hell. In other words, we are either a Son of Heaven or a Son of Hell!
Insight: A statement like the dead were judged according to their works, means these people are not born again. Yes, they are existing but their spirit is dead to God. Now it appears a final search of the Book of Life is conducted and whoever name is not found there is cast into the lake of fire, which the text says in the 2nd death. Now we already know the Unholy Trio is there, now they are joined by unredeemed mankind. My friends, there is no indication that the fallen angelic beings or rebellious souls of man will go out of existence. This passage tells us all will reside in the lake of fire forever. However, that does not mean all will be experiencing the same level of discomfort because all are judged according to their works.
Reference: At the name of Jesus every knee will bow in heaven, in earth and under the earth (Phil 2:10). All the nations will be gathered before him and he will separate them one from another as sheep or goats (Mat 25:32). Some will rise to eternal joy and happiness, others eternal sorrow and contempt (Dan 12:2). For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each may receive what has been done in the body, whether good of bad (2 Cor 5:10). Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never (Mat 24:35). Depart from me, you cursed into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels (Mat 25:41).
Chapter 21 Review
Scripture: John sees a new heaven and earth without any sea. We receive a promise of no more pain, sorrow or death and God’s continuous presence. The Lord says it is done, I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. We are told those who overcome will inherit all things, but the cowardly, unbelieving, sexually immoral, liars, etc. will have their part in the lake of fire, which is the 2nd death. John is taken to a high mountain and shown the Lamb’s Bride, a great city called New Jerusalem. The City is made of pure transparent gold and designed like a square, it’s length and breath are 12,000 furlongs. The City has 12 foundations of different precious stones and 12 gates of individual pearls named for the 12 tribes with guardian angels posted. The foundations have the apostles names on them and the wall is 144 cubits thick. The City has no temple for the glory of God and the Lamb are its light. The City’s gates will never close by day and there will be no night. No one is allowed to enter the City but those written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
The New Creation and New Jerusalem
Insight: I see this as the culmination of God’s intended purpose when he created us. His purpose was to give us the opportunity to rule over his creation and worship him. However, true love must be given freely so God had to devise a test to accomplish his will. John’s reference to no more sea probably means our new bodies will not need to breathe oxygen created from water. My friends, there might still be beautiful, blue oceans that we will be able to enjoy. I see the Church as New Jerusalem and God’s presence transforming us throughout eternity. I picture it similar to when the wind is blowing and the sun shining on a crystal wind chime made of all different colors. We are told for those of us who turn many to righteousness, we will shine like the stars forever and ever.
Insight: The distance of 12,000 furlongs is roughly 1,380 miles. The beautiful stones and pearls could be a reference to our works. You notice the foundation is made of precious stones, not wood, hay or straw. Remember, Paul said our works must last when put to God’s fire, therefore the foundation is made of lasting stones. I see the names of the 12 tribes and 12 apostles a reference to the 24 elders. Also, the angels that passed their test are apart of this City because they are helping us make it to glory. The reason Johns sees no temple is because God’s presence is everywhere. Therefore, in a sense, the temple is everywhere. For those who did not make it, their part is in the lake of fire which is the 2nd death. In other words, just as we are experiencing eternal life, they are experiencing eternal death, no one goes out of existence. I believe once we are no longer bound by a physical body, everyone will experience things simultaneously. Remember, Paul says we will know even as we are known. I recall when the angel took me up to heaven and I saw a beautiful golden city in the clouds!
Reference: The gates of the city shall be named after the 12 tribes of Israel (Eze 48:30). I will return to Zion and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, the mountain of the Lord of hosts, the Holy Mountain (Zec 8:3). Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth (2 Pet 3:13). For as the new heaven and new earth I create remains before me, so shall your descendants (Isaiah 66:22). Once more I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land (Hag 1:6). For I go away and prepare a place for you (John 14:1). At that time, Jerusalem shall be called the Throne of the Lord, and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem. No more shall they follow the dictates of their evil hearts (Jer 3:17).
Reference: Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear for the Day will declare it. If anyone’s work endures, he will receive a reward. (1 Cor 3:12). Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone (Eph 2:20). Coming to him as to a living stone, you also as living stones are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ (1 Pet 2:4). Do you know that you are the temple of God and the Spirit of God dwells in you (1 Cor 3:16)? For we are his workmanship, created in God for good works, which he has prepared for us to walk in (Eph 2:10). That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us in Christ (Eph 2:7). Then the righteous shall shine forth like the stars for ever and ever (Dan 12:3).
Chapter 22 Review
Scripture: John sees a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal proceeding from the Throne of God and the Lamb. We are told the tree of life is in the midst of the street and on either side of this river producing monthly fruit and the leaves are used for the healing of the nations. We will see God’s face clearly and his name shall be written on our foreheads. We are encouraged to persevere in whatever state we are living, whether good or bad. Blessed are those who do his commandments that they might have the right to the tree of life and enter the city. However, outside are the dogs, sorcerers, sexually immoral, murders, idolaters and all those practicing a lie. John is told not to seal up the words of this prophecy. Our Lord identifies himself as the Alpha and Omega, Beginning and End, the First and Last, the Root and Offspring of David and the Bright and Morning Star. Our Lord gives us a final warning not to change the prophecy and reminds us he is surely coming quickly with his rewards to give everyone according to their works. John says amen, even so come Lord Jesus.
Insight: This final chapter gives us a little more details of life in the new creation. I see the river flowing from the throne as a reference to the Holy Spirit. Remember, when God created everything and placed the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden, now there is no mention of that tree. Our testing period is over! The mention of months and healing makes me believe we will experience some type of time and healing throughout eternity. I see the Lord encouraging people to remain wicked or lost as you do not have a lot of time to get right with me. Obviously, the Lord wants everyone to repent and live a holy life. I see his name in our foreheads symbolic of us being God’s property and our ability to fully understanding the cost to the Godhead to redeem our souls. Unlike in Daniel 8 and 12, where the Lord said certain words were sealed up until the time, John is told not to seal up the words of this prophecy. Again, the Lord reminds us that he will render to everyone according to their works.
Reference: If you drink of this water, you will thirst again, but if you drink of water I give, you will never thirst again it will become a fountain of water springing up into eternal life (John 4:14). Then he brought me back to the door of the temple and there was water flowing under the temple (Eze 47:1). They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for medicine (Eze 47:12). For the Son of Man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels then he will reward each accordingly (Mat 16:27). Now we know in part, but then we shall know even as we are known (1 Cor 13). They shall call them the holy people, the redeemed of the Lord and you shall be called A City Not Forsaken (Isa 62:11).
