The purpose of this website
Hello my friends and thank you for visiting this website. The purpose of this website and the creation of Deborah’s Lifetime is to build the Lord’s church, by calling for true repentance and declaring the prophecies given to me by the Lord. True repentance produces holy living. If our compass in life does not lead us into obedience and the practice of holiness, it is leading us into a lie. Once we determine it is time to live for the Lord and cry out for his presence, he is going to put his Spirit within us and place a calling on our lives. For the Bible says he ascended on high and gave gifts.
The primary prophecy
Now, the Lord has not revealed to me any specific date and the Bible says no man knows the date or hour. The primary prophecy given by the Lord is he will return in my sister Deborah’s lifetime. I do not consider myself a prophet like the Old Testament Prophets but have been given key prophecies I am witnessing come true. Also, the Lord is allowing the Holy Spirit to confirm this prophecy to me continuously. Since January 2019, I have not ceased to experience the physical presence of the Holy Spirit. Currently, it feels like a small tingling sensation or electrical buzz throughout the entire body, it does not hurt and thank God I am not hearing voices! During prayer and worship, the sensations get more intense and the wind blows over this little man. However, even when I am not praying or thinking about the Lord, the sensations never cease. The sensations took a while for me to get accustomed to. Now if it stops, I would definitely wonder why he stopped it. However, I was saved before the sensations started and will definitely be saved if it stops. Our salvation is not conditioned upon a feeling, but Jesus death on the cross, our practice of holiness and we must continue in this lifestyle until our last breath. For the Bible says, without holiness, no man will see the Lord and the grace of God teaches us to say no to unrighteousness.
A greater judgment for Bible Teachers
Yes my friends, any so called pastor, theologian, scholar or bible teacher telling you we do not have to or cannot practice holiness, is lying. Now many of you believe you are saved only by your faith or belief that Jesus died for your sins on the cross and your works or holy living have nothing to do with your salvation? This is how I was taught when I first begin to follow the Lord. You have confessed your sins, been baptized and are all covered in respect to your soul. In fact, I was taught that we are all broken and cannot stop sinning. I was taught that as long as we are in this body and under the curse, we will continue to sin. In fact, they say that we are sinning continuously, but Jesus blood covers this. My friends, they are confusing our past actions with our present state. We have many people named in the Bible who were righteous and living blameless before the Lord. Therefore, we know we are not in constant sin or rebellion.
Then I was taught that Jesus blood covers my past, present and future sins. How can Jesus blood cover sins that I have not committed or repented of in the future? I have discovered many bible teachers are afraid to or do not know how to teach on testing, temptation and if the soul fails the test and begins to live a life of sin. In addition, if the soul falls into a sin, they are afraid to teach on what true repentance and a life dedicated to following the Lord looks like. The reason is they are confused and think the soul is in constant sin. I remember asking a Pastor if he thinks its’ possible to go 24 hours without sinning? He smiled and said, I suppose so if the person was asleep. My friends, this man does not know what sin and disobedience is. He believe that sin is somehow in his DNA. He is confusing our bodies being under the curse of sin with us choosing to actively sin or disobey the Lord. Satan has confused his theology to the point where he cannot distinguish between holy living and self righteous religious works. Now, can my holy living save me apart from Jesus blood? Absolutely Not!
Many Bible leaders are living in weakness and therefore, they are leaving their congregation in a state of confusion. Is the Pastor saved, while believing this way? I believe as long as a soul is not actively sinning or living in disobedience, it is saved. However, this believer is living a life of weakness. I believe our God can distinguish between those actually sinning and disobeying him, from those living in poor theology. That is why the Bible says, let not many of us become teachers, knowing that we will receive a stricter judgment. Do you honestly think when the Holy Spirit comes into a persons life with power, they will continue to live a life of sin, depression and weakness? What did Jesus mean when he said I give you power to trample on scorpions, snakes, move mountains and bind the strong man? What did Jesus mean when he said, he who the son sets free is free indeed? Now my friends, I am not saying God has not given us support groups and Godly relationships to help us overcome. Therefore, if eating meat, drinking alcohol or any other action makes my brother stumble, then I will never do these things around them. Some of us have more freedom than others, however we must enjoy these freedoms alone.
The coming test of our souls
Jesus said to the Church of Philadelphia, the hour of trial was coming upon the whole world to test us and he would keep us from it. When you consider the level of testing John and all the apostles endured in their life, this should tell you the ultimate test has to be pretty tough. In fact, the Lord said about those days, that deception would be so great that if possible, the very elect would be deceived. When the Lord said I will keep you from it, my understanding is he will keep those who persevere from failing the test. I do not believe the church will be removed by some secret rapture. However, secretly, I hope we can escape some of the tribulation. I see the ultimate test as whether a person receives the mark of the beast, because without it, you cannot get to your money to buy or sell. Without receiving this mark, we will not have access to the basic necessities of life, such as food, water and shelter. I see the mark as some form of biometric technology that identifies the person and it must go on your hand or forehead.
Once the mark of the beast hits our world, which will be really soon, we will see the true cost one must pay to obey the Lord. When this happens, how many of you will still believe you are only saved by faith and your works or actions do not play a part? However, refusing the mark because you are antigovernment does not mean you are saved. But rest assured, receiving the mark because you are deceived or afraid to pay this high cost to obey the Lord, will definitely doom the soul. Now, as we approach the ultimate test, the testing of our faith is increasing daily. My friends, we must truly understand what it means to deny ourself, pickup our cross and follow the Lord, so we can stand as deception increases in our world. Now even if our number comes up before the mark hits our world and we are not living a sacrificial holy life, we will not make it. However, for some souls like the thief on the cross, it will come down to the wire. Please click on the following link to listen to an opening video.
The Gospel of Luke says the Holy Spirit was upon Simeon, a just and devout man to indicate to him the Lord’s birth in his lifetime. Now, the Holy Spirit is upon this little man indicating the Lord’s 2nd coming in my sister Deborah’s lifetime. The Bible says in Amos 3 that the Lord does nothing unless he reveals his secrets to his servants the prophets. My friends, God loves us so much but it is time to press into the Lord and ask the Holy Spirit to help us stop sinning so we will not end up in torment. God’s desire is to save us and use our talents and resources to further his agenda in the world. However, we have freedom of choice, so each of us must decide to allow him to work in our lives. The teachings on my website cover the below topics.
- What does it mean to be born again and how to know if I am saved?
- When I began to experience the physical presence of the Holy Spirit.
- My testimony, a miraculous healing and conversion from a sinner to a saint.
- Understanding what God has revealed in the Old and New Testament.
- The fundamental Principles of Christianity, my understanding of truth.
- My street ministries and guidance on interacting with the public.
- My prayer and fasting approach and some recommendations.
- Eschatology or the study of the end times as well as my dreams and visions to date.
- How you can get involved.
Deborah is my sister. She and I were born into a family of 16 siblings all sharing the same parents and there are no twins. Again, I do not consider myself a prophet but have received prophecies I am witnessing come true right before my eyes. I am experiencing the physical presence of the Holy Spirit in the form of what feels like small tingling or electrical charges on my hands, crawling sensations on my feet, head, back and occasional wind over the body. I dreamed of something similar to this before it began in the real world. This experience has not ceased since it began in January 2019 and below is my testimony of this phenomenon.

Beginning presence of the Holy Spirit
My friends, around June 2017, the Lord did something very strange to me. I am unsure if this was a dream or vision. I felt the Lord come into my room and sit on my bed, in the dream or vision, I opened my mouth and the Lord breathed into me. I woke up and chills were over my body.
- Around November 2017, in a dream or vision, the Lord was in my bedroom, he reached his hand through my wall and grabbed my hand. I felt the Lord’s hand on my hand in the bed. The Lord stayed there for a few seconds and after he left, I felt strange sensations over my entire body.
- Around August 2018 in a dream, I received the prophecy that he is coming in my sister Deborah’s lifetime. In the dream, the Lord was within me and I felt similar sensations I am feeling now.
- Around November 2018 in a dream, I was taken down to hell and meet a man who said the Antichrist was rising soon. I was given an understanding that the Catholic Church would propel him to power. Now, I am not saying there are no born again Catholics.
- Around January 2019, I felt a presence enter my room. I was not asleep because I had just laid down. I felt the presence touch my feet and I immediately felt warm sensations over my entire body. I turned to see a glowing, white face without a blemish. The being appeared male and had two eyes, normal nose, mouth and chin. His eyes were piercing blue. I said, you are an angel. He smiled and said, Marvin you have eternal life, you will never die. I stared at him for a while and could feel his strength within me. This experience lasted for about a minute.
- A few days later, I woke up and experienced a small tingling sensation in my right hand. Of course, I assumed that I must have just slept wrong. However, I noticed that when I prayed the sensations got stronger. My friends, this was the beginning of me experiencing the physical presence of the Holy Spirit. Now, I did not hear a voice saying, Marvin this is the Holy Spirit you are experiencing.
- Approximately 6 months to a year later, I began to experience strong physical sensations in prayer. When they first began, I had no clue of what was happening or why I was struggling to breathe during prayer. The chest pressure, dizziness and coldness got so intense that I just did not want to pray. Also, fearing that this would be my normal experience in prayer, I dreaded the experience.
However, now I prepare my mind before entering prayer because I know the attacks are coming. Also, the chest pressure, dizziness and cold hands is not as persistent and periodically throughout the prayer, I feel a warm burning sensation. At times during my prayer sessions, it feels like I am being transported somewhere, there is occasional popping in my ears and against my window. Occasionally, I feel things crawling on my head, back and feet.

My Dreams and Visions
My friends, any dreams, visions or spiritual experiences must be compared with the Scripture. Anywhere our experiences contradict the Scripture, we must conclude they are not coming from the God of the Bible. I have received and documented certain dreams from April 2017 forward that I believe are from the Lord. Also, I attempt to provide an interpretation for many of them. Notice I said attempt, because I am not hearing a voice saying, Marvin this is the meaning. When you read the Bible, the Lord uses symbols in many of the dreams and visions. I invite you to visit my page on dreams and visions and let me know if the Lord has given you any. Feel free to reach me at the email provided on the how to get involved page.
The Scripture clearly says in the Book of Joel that in the end, the Lord will pour out his Spirit and we will receive dreams and visions. Of course, this began at Pentecost in the Book of Acts and will continue until the Lord returns. Also, when you read the gospels, you can see how the Lord directed Mary, Joseph, Zacharias the wise men and others through their dreams and visions. It is a reasonable assumption that the closer we are to his return, the more details will be provided. In the Book of Daniel, the Bible says in the end knowledge will increase. As the Lord provides additional dreams and visions, I will post them. However, I am very cautious when proclaiming a vision or dream is from the Lord because just as Satan gave the Lord a vision of full authority in exchange for worship, he can give us the same thing. Trust me my friends, many of us are having supernatural experiences, which is why we must compare them against Scripture.

My Conversion
My born again experience happened in my senior year at college around the age of 24. Now, I initially confessed my sins and was baptized at the age of 16, but now realize that I did not have the Holy Spirit. After my conversion in college, I began passing out tracts and witnessing on the campus of Fullerton State University. Many of my clubbing buddies just thought I got religious and went off the deep end. Coming from a poor family, I chose Finance as a major and the plan was to move to New York, become a stock broker, make all the money and run all the women! Now being a fairly good looking guy, physically strong and relatively smart, this plan was definitely within my reach.
One day, I was returning to my apartment with my then girlfriend, who became my first wife, whom I lost to cancer after 11 1/2 years of marriage. The complex was full of police officers. An officer said, sir you cannot enter your unit because someone is threating to commit suicide and we are trying to talk them down. Now being the sensitive guy I was, I said I do not care I have to go to the bathroom. A man in the complex was near us and he said, you can come use my bathroom. I said thanks and my girlfriend and I went to his apartment. I noticed this guy had very little furniture, no TV and a Bible open on his coffee table. When I came from the bathroom he asked me, are you a Christian? I said yes, while sleeping and living with my girlfriend. He said I am new to the area and do not know many Christians, so would you like to begin studying the Bible with me? Not wanting to be viewed as a hypocrite, I said yes.
Over the next few months we studied Corinthians. I came under tremendous conviction because my girlfriend and I were sleeping and living together. During that time, the Lord gave me a powerful dream. In the dream, I was struggling with following a guy on a stage saying, follow me and I will lead you to riches. In that dream, I remember saying no I am not going to follow you, but I am going to follow Jesus. After waking up from the dream, I found my bed soaking wet! It felt like someone had poured water on my bed. My girlfriend and I stopped sleeping together and within a month or so, we were married. My big proposal was we have to get married or break up. I began reading the Bible approximately 8 hours a day and listening to nothing but Christian teaching and music. I remember this lasted for about 6 months and on a Monday night at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, when Greg Laura was teaching, I went forward, publicly confessed the Lord and was baptized shortly after.

Miraculous Healing and Words for Fasting
Our Lord is gracious and can heal us even after we have glorified the flesh and allowed the locust to eat up so much of our lives. Without this miraculous healing of my herniated disc, there is no way I would have been able to perform so much street ministry. After coming to the Lord, he strengthened the body through this miracle and gave some direct words on fasting. Now, I am sharing the words with you, but everyone’s approach to fasting might not be the same. We always compare any teaching with Scripture to see if the spirit recommending it, is from the Lord.
A miraculous healing
To summarize, these experiences happened over approximately 2 weeks from November 10 to November 23, 2011. After visiting the doctors, MRI and fighting with intense pain, one day I was taking a shower just trying to get some relief and I heard a word in my shower. The voice said, just stay home. After I got out of the shower, my wife was about to go into town and run some errands and asked me if I wanted to come. I remembered the voice and said no.
After she left, I was knelling down over my bed to pray and before my knees hit the floor, I felt a hand on my back. After the hand moved my pain immediately left and my room was as bright as the sun for about a minute. The tears began to flow, I jumped up and ran around the room! The following morning I felt the same hand on my back. I was lying on my face and it felt like the hand was sweeping from the top of my head to my feet. I recall that uncontrollable prayers for people I believed to be lost just came out. This lasted for a few minutes. The next day I woke up and heard a voice say, good morning Marvin. I did not say anything and just figured I was imagining it. The voice said it again, good morning Marvin. I said, ok who are you? The voice said, I am Jesus.
Over the next 4 days, I would ask the Lord something and he would immediately answer. I walked by about 6 different people and ask the Lord if he knew them. He responded yes or no. Eventually, the Lord said, do not ask me that question again. Also, at night when I walked to the bathroom, wherever I stepped, there was a light on the floor. It seemed like someone was shining a light on my foot. Also, during this time, Satan entered my room in the form of a white pit bull and sat by the bed. I said in my mind, Lord that’s the Devil! The Lord calmly said yes. I looked directly at him and said out loud, Satan you do not love God and you do not want anyone else to love him. Satan did not say anything but just walked out the room.
Also, during this time, I remember speaking with a co-worker who had just been diagnosed with cancer. I was performing Chaplaincy ministry at that time and asked my boss could I pray over this person. During the prayer, I asked him what he would want from the Lord during this time. He said that the Lord would be with him. That day, he went to lunch and I happened to go to lunch at the same location. We sat down and the Lord gave me the exact sin of this person. I told him and he started to cry and asked, how did you know that? I said, do not worry about that but go home and read Genesis 1-3. By the way, that man’s exact sin was pride and the Lord gave me some details to reveal to him. After a week or so, this person began to go to a local church and reported to me that he had repented, received Christ and was baptized. He died a few months later. I recall wondering if this open dialog with God was my new normal. After approximately 4 days, I remember his voice shut off.
Words for fasting
The information on fasting recommended on my “Prayer & Fasting” page came directly from the Lord during my physical healing period. The words were given after the culmination of my miraculous healing of a herniated disc. No doubt, my hernia was the result of weight lifting for years and glorifying the flesh. I remember it took about 5 – 10 minutes to receive them. After typing this out, I got up and walked around the room for a while. I remember going back to edit it and my hands began to shake and the Lord said, do not change it. While working, I followed this religiously for about 3 years. I fasting for 24 hours on the 1st Saturday of the month. Now that I am retired, I do not fast as often because the prayer sessions are quite difficult. The Lord does not guilt me out for not fasting more. However, one word from the Lord to get back on this routine will definitely be obeyed.

Street Ministries
My friends, I have been doing some form of public ministry such as evangelism, preaching, feeding the homeless and witnessing on the streets for over 25 years. I recall when my current wife and I were just married, I took her around our new neighborhood to evangelize. We knocked on a few doors, introduced ourself as new neighbors and invited them to our Bible study. I recall one house where the gentleman opened the door and before I could get my little sales pitch out, he said I do not want any and slammed the door in our face! I said, honey do not worry because this will happen often, I turned toward my new wife expecting to see her beautiful face, but she was already halfway back to our house. Street witnessing can be tough my friends! If you desire to perform this type of ministry, please read the guidance I provide on my Street Ministries page. This will help prepare you to engage the public. Without a doubt, all of us are commanded to witness for the Lord, but not all of us have a direct gift of evangelism.
During my street ministry career, I have experienced God working through me. I have laid hands on people and seen instant healings, demons have come out and spoken with a different language and many confessions of sin have occurred. When I am on the streets, I ask individuals if they would like prayer and to be added to my prayer list. Anyone hitting my prayer list receives at least 30 days of prayer. Please review the confidential prayer list I have maintained over the years and feel free to request prayer. My prayer list continuous to grow and is being maintained on my phone. I record and post my street preaching and witnessing videos to my channel for others to see this great work in action! Remember, he said let your light shine before men so they may see your good works.

Foundational Teachings
My friends, what does it mean to be saved, born again or know God? Please understand, just like there is an element of mystery in the physical birth, there is an element of mystery to the spiritual birth. Remember, our Lord used the analogy of the wind blowing. We do not know what causes the wind to blow or stop. For my thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways not your ways. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, God’s thoughts are higher than ours. Therefore, we must submit to God’s rules and trust he knows best for our eternal souls. Throughout my teaching sessions, I explain what I believe it means to be living in this state. However, allow me to present this miracle in the following way.
First, we must understand God does not need to save us, but he literally killed his Son Jesus to bring us the light of the gospel. God will not cease to exist if our souls are lost. Now the Bible says that God is long suffering and patient, not willing that any should perish, but all to come to repentance. Also, we know that John 3:16 says how much God loves us, but also says he who does not believe will perish. The Bible says God manifested in the flesh as Jesus and also says God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself. The Bible says Jesus is the Light which lights everyone that comes into the world. I understand this to mean that God, through his Son Jesus, has given everyone an understanding that he exist or the light of conscience. For the Bible says God has placed eternity in man’s heart. Therefore, we conclude that God has made the first step to reach us.
Second, we must understand our relationship with God is that of Creator/Creation which is similar to a Parent/Child. This is what the Lord meant when he said we must humble ourselves as a child to enter his kingdom. Another way of saying this is God makes the rules and we submit to them. Now as you get to know God better, you definitely feel more authority, this is evident to me, a person experiencing his physical presence. However, there is always an element of Master/Servant present. Therefore, we must never come to God in a proud way thinking we are going to bring some new information to him. For Jesus says his father knows what we need even before we ask and is aware even when a feather falls to the ground. God says the one he will look upon has a poor, contrite spirit and trembles at his word.
Finally, God has appointed a time when he will judge the world, through his Son Jesus. If my prophecy is correct and based on me experiencing his continuous presence I believe it is, we are the final generation. In this last hour, God through his Holy Spirit, is calling everyone to become reconciled to himself. I like to summarize the born again process in this manner.
The 3Rs of the Rebirth
- The Rules (Sin): Prior to conversion, we come to an understanding that we are breaking God’s rules or laws and disobeying him, which means we are sinning, worthy of his eternal wrath. Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save or ear heavy that it cannot hear, but your iniquities have separated you from your God.
- The Repentance (Righteousness): We feel shame over rebelling against God and desire to turn from our rebelliousness lifestyle and want to live according to God’s rules. This includes not believing the facts of the Bible. When ready, we get baptized to demonstrate we are dying to the old lifestyle of disobedience or sin and coming out of the water to walk in the new lifestyle of obedience or holiness. When God sees we are sincere, he gives us his Holy Spirit. Now this may or may not be when you come out of the physical water. I know for me, it did not happen upon water baptism.
- The Rescue (Judgment): We understand until we obey God that the wrath of God is upon our life and if we die in disobedience, which I understand means practicing sin or unbelief, then he is going to send us to torment for our rebellious, sinful lifestyle. We understand that God loves us so much and has given us his Son, Jesus Christ to be the only blood sacrifice to pay for our sin debt. We develop a hunger and thirst for righteousness and want God to fill us with the Holy Spirit so we can live a life according to his rules or free of sin.
The power to overcome sin and death
My friends, the only power that can overcome our past sins, shame, hurts, unfulfilled dreams, while helping us live holy, is the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. As we pick up our cross and follow the Lord, God is unleashing the power of the Holy Spirit within us. Remember, Satan is going to ensure we never forget our deepest regrets, while he accuses us before the throne. We must walk in holiness, so the Holy Spirit can continue to bear witness to our spirit that we are forgiven. In Revelation 12:11, we get a good picture of how the soul enters eternal life. Our Lord promises us that if we overcome, we will be a pillar in the temple of his God.
- And they overcame by the blood of the lamb (God’s part). The Father has sworn that Jesus is a High Priest forever, so if we come correct, the blood will never fail. This means if we fall into sin, let’s humbly repent and ask the Lord for help. In other words, no matter how bad our past was, if we walk in holiness, the blood will do its’ work. Remember, we can come boldly before his throne to receive help in time of need.
- And they overcame by the word of their testimony (Our external actions). This means to overcome the power of God’s curse, we must continue to submit ourselves as living sacrifices, so the power of God’s life flows in us. There is no such thing as a closet Christian. Our Lord says we are the light of the world, so we must let this light shine before men, they will see it and glorify our father in heaven. Remember what the Lord said to the guy who received his 1 talent and hid it. If we do not live a bold Christian life, we will cower in fear, before others as well as our own sin. Some of the scariest words our Lord said was, if we deny him before men, he will deny us before his father. If we are faithless, he remains faithful for he cannot deny himself.
- And they did not love this world or their lives (Our internal actions). We must not love this fallen, perverted world because if we do, the love of the father is not in us. For all that is in the world is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. Remember, when Satan showed our Lord all the kingdoms and offered him authority over this world, in exchange for worship. Make no mistakes my friends, our eternal souls are worth more than all the riches of this world. This is why the Lord ask the question, what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Remember Lots wife and those crying out alas, when Mystery Babylon is destroyed. Why did she look back and why are they crying out? My friends, their hearts are being broken because the world they love is being destroyed.
The 3Ps of Spiritual Warfare
Just as the physical life requires certain routines and disciplines such as eating and sleeping, so those the spiritual life. Remember, Paul said I beat my body and bring it under subjection, lest I am disqualified from the prize after preaching to you. In the context of this passage, Paul is saying the prize is eternal life. The 3Ps of spiritual warfare are a concise way of thinking about these disciplines.
Prayer and fasting: The Bible says that our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers in the heavenly places. This means that we are fighting against unseen forces, such as demonic beings and our fallen will, that can lead us into sin. My friends, we are definitely living in the evil day, therefore, the full armor of God must be applied.
- We grid our waist with truth, which means we understand and apply the truth of God’s word to our lives. Remembering to always speak the truth in love. Now, this is difficult because no one wants to hear they are breaking God’s rules, but it is better to hear it now, when the soul can do something about it. Remember, the rich man heard it to late.
- We put on the breastplate of righteousness, which means we guard our hearts by living in righteousness, thus keeping sin out of our lives. Our Lord said if our eye, hand or feet cause us to stumble, get rid of this part. We must cultivate a deep love for God and his holy standards.
- We cover our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, which means carrying the gospel to the lost. Our Lord says we are the light of the world, therefore we are always looking for ways to spread the gospel to the lost. My friends, it is going to get extremely dark down here but we never lose the hope of salvation. Remember, our Lord said because iniquity or sin will abound, the love of many will wake cold.
- We take the shied of faith which will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. My friends, our faith will be tested because faith without works is dead. In other words, saving faith must produce holy living. Again, as God test our faith to provide our devotion, Satan temps us, though our lust, to fail the test.
- We take the helmet of salvation, which means we must never lose our focus down here. We cling to the cross and holy living, understanding that many will try to make it, but not be able. Unfortunately, for those who will not make it, we understand the lake of fire is waiting.
- Finally, we take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. My friends, if we do not know our Bible, then we are going to lead astray rather easy. Remember, what our Lord said during his wilderness temptations. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
Obviously, there is no way to pull this off without having deep prayer and fasting times before our Lord. Remember, we must develop persistent prayer for ourselves as well as the church as a whole. The reason is even when we are ignored or persecuted on the streets, God lets us know during this time that we are in his will. Prayer and fasting disciplines are the most difficult acts of obedience before the Lord, so you will be attacked the hardest here. You will get everything from simple interruptions and apparent emergencies down to hard demonic attacks against the body. However, if you are neglecting this in your relationship with the Lord, you will be very weak.
Praise and worship: The Bible says the will of God is that we give thanks in every situation. Now, my friends it is hard to give thanks when we are under heavy persecution. However, Jesus said in this world we will have tribulation, but be of good cheer for he has overcome the world. The Father is seeking those to worship him, but we can only worship through spirit and truth. This means unless we are born of the Holy Spirit, God does not receive our worship. I usually spend an hour every morning singing and doing some light exercise before the Lord. Before retirement, I got up early to have this special time. However, you can also enjoy this time throughout your day by listening to praise and worship music. Music is powerful so do not let the enemy play the worlds music in your mind. There are times when some old familiar songs might take us back. However, for the most part, the word of God, along with praise and worship should fill our minds. My friends, this is when your battery gets charged with the least amount of attacks from the enemy! If you are neglecting this part of your relationship, you will be weak.
Prophecy and proclamation: God said in the end he would pour out his spirit on all flesh and we would get more dreams, visions and prophesy. Also, we know the command our Lord gave to the disciples was to go into all the world, teach, make disciples and be a witness for the kingdom. Paul told Timothy to rebuke, exhort, preach and encourage with all long suffering. Obviously, you cannot accomplish this without having a good understanding of the Bible. Do you have a good understanding of what God has revealed in the Old and New Covenants? Do you have a good understanding of how to lead someone to Christ and help them become discipled? My friends, without a study of God’s word, you do not even have a good understanding of how to pray. To prophesy and proclaim means for you to let your light shine before men. Now, God has equipped some of us more in this area. However, since the Lord is confirming to me that we are very close to his return, many more are getting strong prophecies. If God has given you a specific prophecy, like he has given me, make sure that you are proclaiming it boldly! If you are neglecting this part of your relationship, you are in disobedience.
The cost to God
Now salvation is a gracious gift from God, but do not let anyone tell you it did not cost God to send Jesus and therefore, you better believe it will cost us to enter into eternal life. It stands to reason that if God put his Son Jesus through the cross, then he is definitely going to put us through something. Remember when our Lord was in the garden before going to the cross, he pleaded with the father. My friends, the redemption of our soul continues to be a heavy cost to the Godhead. The reason the Lord commands us to observe the ritual of communion, on a regular basis, is he wants this cost to always be before our eyes.
The Bible says the Holy Spirit is convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. Do you think this is easy work for the Holy Spirit? If we believe God is completely holy and righteous, while the unrepentance person is extremely vile, then he is allowing himself to experience this rebellion to win the sinner’s soul. My friends, while we are living in sin or disobedience, God is putting up with our perverted sexual thoughts and actions, prideful attitudes and obsession with ourselves.
Remember, our Lord says my father is working, so I must continue to work and Paul says do not grieve the Holy Spirit. Now, no one knows how long God will labor for any particular soul, but we know he labored for the thief on the cross until his final hour. We are so grateful that our Creator is long suffering, not willing that any would perish, but all would come to repentance. Our Lord Jesus paid the cost, overcame temptation and now is sitting on the father’s throne, waiting for the word to return. We to, must pay the cost and overcome temptation, so we can reign with him.
The cost to Us
Anyone who has some understanding of how holy God is knows that no human can earn or demand salvation. The Bible says that Jesus blood is the only blood that can pay the sin debt. However, the Bible is clear that we will work to enter his rest. Hebrews tells us that many who came out of Egypt did not enter because the word they heard was not mixed with faith, thus leading to obedience. For our Lord said, no one begins to build before sitting down and counting the cost. Our Lord said, deny yourself, pickup your cross and follow me. My friends, we must humble ourselves and fall on the cross and the strong rock, that is Christ, will lift us up. However, if we walk in sin, the cross will fall on us and the strong rock, that is Christ, will grind us to powder.
Salvation is more than just believing Jesus died on the cross and other facts of the Bible. Salvation is us entering into the cross and dying daily to our ways and asking God to give us his Holy Spirit, so we can live by his rules. This means us allowing the Spirit to help us keep the sin out of our lives. Remember, Paul said I die daily and he was crucified with Christ. Do you know dying daily to the things trying to lead us astray is hard work? This includes filling all our hours up with things not of God. When we have strong discussions and just must have the last word or choose not to forgive, Satan as well as our flesh, loves this. My friends, is it easy or hard to respond the right way or turn the other cheek, when someone is attacking you? This is why we must lean into the Holy Spirit for help during periods of weakness.
Please find 1 parable in the Gospels where the Lord is not saying we must work to enter the kingdom. Remember the parable of the talents, the Lord gave one 5, another 2 and another 1. What did the Lord say about the servant hiding his 1 talent? Remember the parable where the Lord is hiring workers to go and work for him. His question was friend, why have you been standing here idle all day? Remember the parable where the Lord says, no one who puts his hands to the plow and looks back, is fit for the kingdom. My friends, how do farmers use a plow?
Remember the story of the prodigal son in the Gospel of Luke. What did the prodigal son do after living a worthless life and wasting his father’s money? Did he hope or believe or have faith that his father loved him, that he could receive a pardon and be received back into the family? Yes. Do you think his hope or belief or faith would have gained him forgiveness unless he got up out of the pig pen (old life of sin), ran to the father (confession of sin) and asked the father to allow him to serve no longer as a son but a hired hand (repentance and new life of service to God)? Do you remember the older son choosing not to forgive his brother and come to the celebration?
The physical and spiritual birth
Now, we cannot know God other than through his Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus says the one who does my father’s will and obeys me will be given the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will lead us into a life of holiness, not a life of sin. Our love for the Lord and our neighbor is demonstrated through being involved in the great commission to reach the lost, by meeting physical needs and abstaining from the practice of sin. Obviously, we need the Holy Spirit’s power to pull this off. This may appear black and white, however, as you continue to read, you will see that falling into sin is a process. The letter of James gives us a hint of this process, but consider this for now.
To enter the physical world we experience a 9 month painful growth process that ends in extreme pain. Just ask any woman. Now, if the physical birth is associated with this much trauma, then it is only logical to believe the spiritual birth will have much more. Paul says we must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God and our Lord says strive to enter the narrow gate because many will try and not be able. Our Lord promises us that in this life, we will have testing or tribulation, but he encourages us to be of good cheer. For more insight on the testing and temptations coming into our lives, click on this link: Understanding Testing and Temptation.
Trust me my friends, eternal life is not something we are going to just stumble into. Before we are born again, we all have a hard, prideful resistant heart to the ways of the Lord, but once we are born of him, we get a soft, humble heart that bends to his will. The Christian life is a sacrificial, unselfish, focused life. However, without this level of commitment, we will definitely stumble into hell. Jesus said the right path is narrow, difficult and few are on it. Alternatively, the wrong path which leads to destruction is broad and many are on it. Notice, there are no other paths our lives can take. In other words, you are either in the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Satan. No one is walking both paths at the same time for it is impossible to be in two places at once.
During Jeremiah’s day, God said, because my people have forgotten me and turned from the ancient paths to walk in pathways and not on the highway. In Ezekiel’s time, the Lord said I will give them one heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take the stony heart out of them and give them a heart of flesh. My friends, this is the same message the Lord is giving us New Testament people, we must walk on the narrow path. Then, they will walk in my statutes and keep my judgments, then shall be my people and I will be their God. Now that I am experiencing his life, moment by moment, I can honestly say there is no other experience down here, that even comes close.

Prayer & Fasting Guidance
My friends, my prayer sessions last for about an hour. Even though we are commanded to pray, there is nothing fun about prayer, it is definitely work! All during the prayer session, I experience pressure in the chest, intermittent dizziness, burning sensation in the hands and feet, while the wind of the Holy Spirit is blowing in the room. More recently, I feel my ears popping, something crawling on my head, arms, feet and have heard things moving in my room. Do I know which sensations are from the Holy Spirit and which are from spirits trying to stop me from praying? Mostly, but not always. However, thank God I do not do drugs because I am definitely interacting with the spirit world!
Understand, the Holy Spirit interacts with each of us in his unique way and leads us in different directions according to our gifts. Please do not pray or try to interact with the spirit world in any other way other than how Jesus teaches us in the Bible. Do not visit fortune tellers, palm readers, death shrines, hold seances, use crystals, burn sage, seek spiritual guides, use Ouija boards, practice Astrology or certain types of yoga, attend new age retreats or any form of spiritualism. Remember, Satan transforms himself into an angel of light. Trust me, the spirit world is extremely real and eager to interact with us. Now that I am so close to God, I understand how jealous he is, so we must always obey the rules, so he will not allow us to be deceived.
Now, if the spirit world begins to interact with you, like it is doing with me, run directly to the Bible and compare your experience with the Scriptures. If your experience appears inconsistent with the Scriptures, then ask the God of the Bible to help you understand what is going on. Remember, our experiences, though extremely real to us, never trump the revealed written word of God. Please visit my page on prayer and fasting.

Our Relationship to God: Obedience vs Disobedience
What does it mean to love and obey God? Does God know I cannot obey him at the same level that Jesus did? What does it mean to live a perfect, holy life? If I disobey God, does that mean I hate him? Is hating the Bible or God’s rules the same as hating God? Why does God’s actions appear cruel to me at times? Why does God allow people to disobey him? How does my fear of God interact with my motivation to love or hate God? Can I serve God out of love and fear God at the same time? If I am indifferent toward God does that mean I hate God? Is the Old Testament God saying obey me and the New Testament God saying love me? Trust me my friends, these next questions are extremely important.
- Am I trying to relate to God apart from a good understanding of the Bible?
- What does Jesus death on the cross mean and what impact is it having on me?
- What happened at Pentecost and what is the role of the Holy Spirit in my life?
- Have I created a God in my mind that is different from the God of the Bible?
My friends, we are made in the image of God so our perceptions, desires, feelings, motives and actions are very complex. I understand that our perceptions, desires, feelings and motives are all driving our actions. Now for most deep decisions in life, many and quite possibly all our internal processes are definitely in play. Yes my friends, before any external actions, most of what is happening to us is internal. Prior to external action, depending on the depth of the subject our perceptions, desires, feelings and motives are contemplated over a shorter or longer period of time. Therefore, when the subject of God or Supreme Being arises in our mind, these processes are always in play. Please journey with me as I explain how the Holy Spirit is helping me implement my relationship with God.
How is God choosing to test our love?
When God created our first parents and placed them in the Garden of Eden, did he say love me or obey me? We know the command was to obey me because they already knew to love God. They were experiencing God’s continuous presence, similar to what I am experiencing, so both beings, man and God were in an unbroken love affair. As long as man continued to abstain from the wrong tree, the test was being passed, their obedience demonstrated and both beings continued to experience each others love. Since man had never died, he had no experiences to compare against the result of disobedience. So, in a sense, the threat given by God only engendered a minimal amount of fear. Now, since we have a better understanding of loneliness, pain, addictions, hatred, sickness, death and hell, the fear component of our motivation to obey God is greater than theirs.
When God told Abraham to take his son Isaac whom he loved and offer him as a burnt offering, was he testing Abraham’s love or fear? After Abraham passed the test, did God say now I know how much you love me or how much you fear me? When God delivered the 10 commandments to Moses, how did he deliver them on Mount Sini? The Bible says that the sight was so terrifying that Moses said, I am exceedingly fearful. Moses said to the people, do not fear for God has come to test you and that his fear may be before you, so that you may not sin. Jesus said, when the Holy Spirit comes, he will convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. The Spirit is letting us know if we are in sin, if we are living holy and after death comes the judgment. Now, some of us have been sinning so long, so his voice is extremely faint. Also, the world likes to excuse our sin by saying no one is perfect. God knows no one, except Jesus lived a perfect life, the question is are you still practicing sin?
My friends, no matter how hard our mind might try and convince us God is not going to require an accounting or render judgment on us, the Holy Spirit is telling us we are mistaken. When John the Baptist hit the scene, how did he deliver is message? When Peter preached his first sermon in Acts at Pentecost, how did he deliver his message? Can we find one Book in the New Testament that does not preach our relationship to God demands we must obey his rules or we will face his wrath? Is there anyway we can express our love toward God other than by obeying his rules? What if your child told you he loves you, yet continued to disobey your rules?
Why am I breaking the rules?
Am I really choosing to disobey the rules? Isn’t everyone free to make up their own standard of morality? What if I do not know God’s rules, will he still hold me accountable to follow them? So what if I choose to disobey God’s rules, does that mean I hate God? If I am choosing to disobey God, does that mean my level of love or fear toward God is wrong? If I am convinced that my lifestyle is disobedient and truly believe in the fear of God’s punishment, why on earth would I continue in this direction? My friends, the most logical response is I believe God will continue to extend grace to me. Also, my concept of God might be he is love and would an all loving being ever send someone, especially me, to a place of torment? Am I really that bad when compared to all other bad people?
Essentially, I am risking future judgment to receive this temporary feeling of pleasure. Why on earth would I trade this temporary feeling of pleasure for an eternal feeling of pain? Now granted, obedience to God’s rules can bring temporary feelings of pain, because we are dying to the flesh. However, in cases like Job, we chose to submit rather than disobey. The only reasonable answer is my belief in the future is not strong enough to change my behavior in the present. Also, my belief in the future demand to live holy, might feel impossible to me. My friends, when God tells us to confess with our mouth and believe in our heart to be saved, he is talking about a belief strong enough to change our behavior. Any belief we have or confession of faith we make, that does not change our behavior, is worthless. Now, God understands our ability to obey him may not be realized all the time, this is why the Bible says if we sin, then we confess and ask the Holy Spirit to give us power to overcome.
My friends, our Lord’s death on the cross, the gift of the Holy Spirit and our Lord’s blood continuing to intercede is evidence of God’s desire to help us make it to glory. So, regardless of our perceptions, desires, feelings, motives and actions, let’s chose to demonstrate our love and faith through obedience. Just as Hebrews says our Lord learned obedience through the things he suffered, we to must do the same. In every situation, we chose to submit our will to God’s rules and believe his plan is to work all things out for our good. When the Father and the Son sees our abandoned resolve to obey them, under any circumstance, exactly what my brother’s book, Going All In, is preaching, they release the power of the Holy Spirit within our lives.
About Deborah’s Lifetime
You can visit my “About Deborah’s Lifetime” page to learn a little about the founder and how you can get involved. The page on “The Principals of Christianity”, includes some fundamental teachings on testing, temptation, sin, repentance and the born again state. The pages on the “Old and New Testament” are crucial for everyone seeking to understand what life is all about and what God has revealed in written form.
If you would like to begin street witnessing, please visit the page on “Street Ministries” for guidance on interacting with the public. The page on “Prayer and Fasting” provides guidance to deepen our personal relationship with the Lord. I have teachings on the “End times or Eschatology” and how I believe this age will culminate, which based on my prophecy, is in my sister Deborah’s lifetime. Obviously, if I am wrong then, I am delusional and will probably end up in hell for lying on God. That was a joke my friends because I assure you, I am interacting with the Holy Spirit even as I type this.
Can you imagine what God would do to me if what I am saying on my website is not true? Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams and cause my people to err by their lies and by their recklessness, says the Lord! Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing! Because you have spoken nonsense and envisioned lies, therefore I am indeed against you, says the Lord! Woe is me my friends, if I am prophesying lies and misinterpreting what it means to be saved! I encourage you to follow the teachings and share any material from this site.
